The Ending Of Stranger Things 2 Explained
video description
But with the Demidogs, he is not controlling them. He is simply suggesting to them what they should be doing. In the moment that Dart encounters the group of kids, the Mind Flayer is also preoccupied with many other things. So his attention is focused elsewhere. He simply did not notice that one of his dogs saw the kids.
Rest assured, that if he had been sitting idle, with nothing to focus on. He would have definitely noticed that one of his dogs was letting the kids passed and would have zoned in and forced control over Dart.
I am not saying that a being with enough willpower would not be able to break his control. I think that is definitely likely. I just think that the Demidogs are not one of those beings. The kids just got lucky in that moment.

[SPOILERS]
I thought the ending of Season 1 was pretty final with the rescue of Will, and Eleven sacrificing herself to kill the demigorgon.
So, while Eleven is my favorite character in the show, I was a little disappointed that they resurrected her in season 2 and just made up an even bigger monster. So the ending of Season 2 they sent the shadow monster back to the underworld and shut the portal. _That_ should finally close the lid on the series! Sure there are still monsters in the underworld, but so what? There are alligators in the Florida swaps, tigers in India, bears in Adirondack mountains, killer hornets in the forests of Japan, scorpions in the Arizona desert, and, and. demidogs in the underworld, bleh. There are monsters everywhere (even in real life) and life goes on.

WHY DID BOB HAVE TO DIE!
I loved him because while he was a bit dorky, he did really care for Joyce, Will and Jonathan.
Before he knew what was going on pretty much everyone in town thought the family were crazy weirdo's and didn't take them serious but Bob still loved Joyce and tried his best to get along with the boys, even while they weren't always too fond of him. I mean, he talked to them, filmed, tried to give Will advice on his nightmares and brought Will games when Will was sick.
Then when he finally knew what was going on he was willing to help in any way he could and even died to make sure Joyce and Will (and the others but we know he was thinking mostly about those two) got out of Hawkins lab to safety first.
HE DIED FOR THE PEOPLE HE LOVED!

My take on it is that there are a lot of parallels from stranger things to real life. I think the mind flayer is satan. I think the demo dogs are demons ( they should be crows. Massive crows would of been pretty epic as a writer. The lab is kinda like cern, who supposedly made a tear into the demonic realm, releasing demons into our realm. Will was possessed. The upside down is kinda like hell ( although I have no idea what hell is actually like. Eleven is mkultra victim ( which is satanic mind control. And God is savior from all of this. Salvation. What I don't understand is how barb could of just been taken into hell. But anyway, that's just my take on the parallels so far. Cool show

One part at the end everyone is glancing over is when Eleven is closing the gate she has a flashback to Papa telling her she's dying and that's what ultimately put her over the edge to close the gate. Which would kind of explain why she gets weak and bleeds from her nose after using her powers. I could be reading into it wrong so if that's the case let me know. Kind of reminds me of Prison Break how Michael Scofield would bleed from his nose and get weak because of his terminal illness. She has telekinesis and he's extremely smart. LET ME KNOW I'm hoping I'm just comprehending it wrong and on here looking for clarification! Thanks!

Please. The only dark thing looming in the minds of children in the early 80's was the existential threat of COMMUNISM. Which is a Hive-Mind mentality applied to a population. You kill the Ideology? It's DEAD. The memories of all the combined life, and imagination, and friendship create it's own feeling, which cannot be described with words, but can be described in a NETFLIX Mini-Series. The only Forward, is to make single-show saga's that employ only a few of the characters seen now.

I had JUST gotten done telling my husband that Bob was my favorite this season, then BAM, he gets eaten. He was so compasionate, and didn't act negatively about their situation, when anyone else probably would have ran. He even helped with minimal question, even when his life was in danger He was great But that's also why I enjoy Max.
I don't always get this into shows. I'm not easily entertained, but this show has honestly blown me away.

I feel like the kids burning the killer vines is the reason the Shadow Monster left Wills body. Like the Shadow Monster couldnt handle that amount of pain anymore and that was his moment when he ditched the body. Remember, when they first realized burning the vines physically hurt Wills insides, they completely stopped trying to close the gate and the Shadow Monster was aware of that! Man, I love this show!

I just remembered that when the shadow monsters virus was evicted from will it didn't just disappear from existence it exited the cabin and flew into the sky maybe that is how the shadow monster (mind flayer) will make its return / invasion. It didn't pass through the gate after all. If it had then we would have seen it as the gate shut

So they are trying to hide the informations about the upside down. Whag if in the future someone found a fossil of the demodogs and think its a normal species that came from their dimension but instead its from a different one. Just imagine all the stuff they are going to be thinking in the future.
