Super Dark Times has incredible tension and good characters but completely blows it in the third act. It was the most frustrating conclusion I saw in 2017. Still worth seeing but they had a huge opening to hold to one theme and they randomly go in a different direction that does not work.
The Big Sick, Logan Lucky, Three Billboards are all worth seeing too.
Add The Florida Project, Ingrid Goes West, Personal Shopper, Colossal, Tragedy Girls, Better Watch Out, The Devils Candy and Brigsby Bear among many others.

Logan lucky was disappointing. Not bad, but not great like people here said. I dunno it was just missing something. Had the great actors, great story line, great acting, brilliant heist, good ending. Had all the ingredients to be great but was just misisng something. I dont know if it was the all time horrible score, if it was the sequence or some of the plot misteps.
Should of broke down their plan so it made more sense. The thing with the banker wasnt clear at all. Good movie, not great. Bomb city is great.

Thelma left me with a mental scar. it rarely occures, but some rare and great movies leaves you with small scars in you mind, sort of like a bad feeling that wont go away for hours after watching the movie. that starts bubbling back up when you start thinking about the movie long after.
its been months since i saw that movie, but seeing it on this list made that feeling come back. dreadful and beautiful at the same time. it realy is a must watch of 2017!

I honestly don't get anyone being excited about Brawl In Cell Block 99. It was one of the most boring movies I've ever seen. It felt like a Tarantino fan that had never made a movie before somehow got Vince Vaughn to be in his shitty movie. The acting was horrible and the dialogue seemed like it was written by a child. I genuinely don't understand how anyone liked that film.

The repeated mis-pronunciation of Kumail Nanjiani's name made me cringe _every_ time it's said, and it's like the voice actor deliberately said it over and over just to hammer home that he can't pronounce it!
It's pronounced as nan-gee-ah-nee, and not nun-gee-or-nee as this idiot keeps on saying!

Considering the number of award noms and wins Three Billboards has received, I wouldn't call it underappreciated. The Big Sick has also gotten quite a lot of critical acclaim. They may not have been huge money-makers but most of these dramatic awards contenders rarely are.

Vince Vaughn can b excellent - I liked him in the Break Up. Sometimes comedy actors are the best human actors. I liked Logan Lucky - dont expect non-stop action from Soderberg, he is great but slow-paced at times. Some of these look great.

A Ghost Story was soooooo slooooooow. You literally get to watch Mara Rooney eat a whole pie. I'm not kidding. Do you know how long it takes to eat a whole pie? Like 15 minutes! And it's just her eating the freakin' pie!

I watched Brawl In Cellblock 99 after seeing this vid. It had it's moments but it was basically violent garbage with awful special effects. Nothing like leaving you with the image of several obvious mannequin heads on screen
