Lautner on the other hand is wooden as hell, so he can't convince people with his acting. Also, his appearence doesn't help either. He is short and he doesn't have a deep voice, so traditionally masculine roles are difficult for him to land, since his acting skills can't compensate for what he lacks.
If i were him, i'd go take acting classes and regain my physique. He has become fat since Tracers, which ruined his good looks. A hair transpalnt might also help, since he is also norwooding. If he does all these, maybe by the age of 30 he can land some decent roles. He has left many good years go by. It's entirely possible that he won't act in a big movie again, but it's in his and his agent's hands.

His Twilight costar ''Robert Pattinson'' has now been cast to play the next version of the iconic superhero, Batman! So I would assume that Taylor definitely still has hope of doing well again in Hollywood! Robert was in a similar position in his career to Lautner before he was cast as Batman! Taylor is also much younger as he is still only 27 & Pattinson is 33 so he just needs to be patient waiting for the right role to come around! Until that happens though, he needs to star in lower budget, good movies or even decent TV shows! Hopefully that will allow him to truly showcase & even improve on his acting skills so he can get bigger, better roles in the future! It's what Robert was doing too & now he has a massive chance to make a big name for himself again in the film business by playing the ''dark night''!

Maybe Taylor should take a page out of his fellow co-stars Robert & Kristen's books & work on smaller projects to help hone his skills & he'll get cast in bigger roles. Look at Ryan Gosling I first saw him in Young Hercules than after that we didn't hear much from him when he pops up again he's starring with Sandra Bullock, Anthony Hopkins, Denzel Washington, George Clooney, Michelle Williams. He's really showing his acting chops the same could happen for Taylor if he plays his card right as for his asking price of 5 million that is too much for a starter actor like him. Sigourney Weaver only asked for 1 million dollars to come back as Ripely & things took off from there for her all Taylor has to do is start out small then gradually build up to bigger & better things.

Yeah, he isnt that good with acting. He can improve on it if he chose too. Abduction wasnt that good. When we hear the word Abduction. Its suppose to be devastating and traumatizing. The script and the movie itself just didnt make any sense. You can mix some action in it, but its about being abducted. So it has to be deep and heartfelt. It seem like Taylor struggled to cry on certain scenes. Another movie which was bad was Grown UPS 2. I looked at the tv with a blank face. The problem is. He sounds the same and acts the same when playing the characters. He is still acting though. A show called Cuckoo which is based in London and airs on Netflix. Now he can sell his soul and get it all even though he isnt that good, but I can see he isnt like that which is good!

You better have some talent beyond that or your career will vanish. His Twilight fans never flocked to the theater to his films. Studios took a gamble on him spending millions thinking that having his name at the top of a marquee would bring in audiences. Audiences dont take him seriously. Hes not a Tom Cruise or Jodie Foster. His acting is one dimensional.

Except Lautner moved his way into action movies immediately and Cruise had quite the career before even doing his first action movie. Also Lautner kinda has this girly/androgynous voice and personality, he's not masculine enough. He sounds really really nasal nasal and bratty.

Lets be honest I thought he was hot in twilight only reason I liked him, hes acting meh. When I hear his name in a movie I dont think oh fantastic actor let me go watch his movie, some actors just dont have the star power that it requieres for the box office.
