Here are two. This is from Britain. Heil Honey I'm Home! a sitcom about Hitler and Ava living next door to a Jewish couple. (And yes, this was real) It was in the vain of I Love Lucy. Another one American. Tag Team Roddy Piper and Jesse The Body Ventura, they play a tag team who in the locker room got told to lose a match by the owner's wife or else she would get them fired. They won they get canned. After that while in a grocery store they come across two thieves. After taking the thieves out. They enroll in the police academy.

What about that one show with Ted Danson which stars a girl who dies and goes to Heaven, only to find out that god made a mistake and shows that everything she's done in life was someone else, so she has to spend her time trying to prove that she did something good or she goes to hell. at least that's how I understood it. I can't find any record of it, but friend of mine was showing me previews on Netflix a couple years ago, would be around the time of the Lethal Weapon series.

Awww they didn't mention USA's To Love & Die! That was one of those T. V. shows they tired to make sound like it was always meant to be a movie after r he cancelled it, never mind the total cliffhanger ending and the trailers calling it the next big USA comedy drama.
I liked it but watching a comedy about assassins is a bit much.

When you look at the line up of shows that aired on TV in the 70s-90s and compare it to these and the reality shows its obvious that the wind has shifted for the worse in most ideas in creativity.
Back then the shows weren't all that bad as it is now and then creativity was in bloom compared to the garbage that is on TV now.

I would cancel that garbage asap too and that goes double for what hollyweird is now flooding those theaters with too.
I'm not sure if it was canceled after the first episode. Had something too do with a plane crash on this island and this captain of that downed aircraft played by Lloyd Bridges.

Aquaman, trying to get in on that Smallville hype back in the day (the guy who played Green Arrow on Smallville was cast as Arthur Curry in the Aquaman which was canceled after the pilot episode (pretty sure it wasn't even aired on TV, but it leaked online)

Jackie Gleason's game show 'You're in the Picture only lasted one episode. It was so bad, the next episode was changed to The Jackie Gleason Show. And the topic for the first episode of this revamped show? Gleason apologizing for what they saw the week before.

Gley Frey's casting was not completely out of the blue. He had a guest shots on Miami Vice, Ken Wahl's side kick in the Dead Dog arc of Wiseguy and was a major supporting actor in Let's Get Harry with Mark Harmon, Robert Duvall and Gary Busey.

There was a Family Ties spin-off called The Art Of Nick.
It is a prequel, showing what Nick Moore did before he met Mallory and the Keatons.
Notable was that it also starred a pre-Seinfeld Julia Louis Dreyfuss.
It is on Youtube.
