I thought the ending of the 1st Saw was one of the most predictable ever. There were two major give aways that the guy in the middle of the room (Jigsaw) was not dead. When Leigh Whannell's character grabbed the tape recorder to play his tape, it was empty. And when Cary Elwes' character grabbed the revolver and dropped the cylinder to load his bullet there were no spent casings in the cylinder.

No one mentioning A Serbian Film? That was a twisted ending to a twisted film. Most of the films on this list were just big budget, for-the-masses horror films that were barely palatable, if at all, to horror fans. The Others was just a period piece rip-off of Sixth Sense. It literally came out two years after Sixth Sense so it could capitalize on the buzz of the earlier film.

You're wrong about what happened near the end of It Follows. Paul didn't sleep with a prostitute; he considered it when he was driving by but didn't stop the car - he kept going. Now his fate is linked with Jay's like their hands are linked at the end, and It is sure to come for them. They'd both rather accept that than to curse anyone else.

But in all seriousness if your a cop pulling up to a man strangling a lady your gonna at the very least detainee him regardless of race. Then question the victim (as the officer sees it) about what just happened. Any break in the victims story would be reported. Protocols would prevent officers in doing things in any other way.

The only films on this list that deserve Best Endings is The Others, Saw and maybe Cabin in the Woods. The rest are just. good. Nothing special. Not saying they're bad films (other than It Follows. trash. Martyrs had a better ending. The Decent. Kill List. Triangle. I Saw the Devil.

What was so awful about the ending to the Mist is they were actually safer at thst moment then they had been since it started. If they had just--sat there, for ten minutes, it would have all been over. Save your bullets for when you are SURE the end is near.

yo you didnt even talk about the ending of cabin in the woods! the movie ended with the two sharing a blunt and agreeing that the world is shit and doesnt deserve to survive and then the entitys hand coming outta hell and crushing them (and the world)

Get Out is definitely one of the best movies I've seen, and Allison William's portrayal of Rose Armitage was horrifically amazing, especially when Rod called Rose, and she sounded so emotional, and. Just amazing.

The best part about the ending of It Follows is that, ultimately, it may not even matter much if the guy in the background is It or not. The fear will haunt them forever even if it's just a random guy walking.
