The Most Bizarre Japanese Anime Ever Made
video description
I was looking for a weird movie animation, and I can't find it. I think it's been released around 2000's and i'm really in love with it. if you know it please comment! i'll resume it:
As far as i can remember, the animation looks very childish and there is definitely no humans in this weird world. the story starts about a young girl with black/blue hair and a white short dress living with her awful aunt or something like that and her 2 siblings who are younger and eat pretty much all the food. There is a huge pink piano and I think the little girl isn't allowed to play. There is something about shoes as well, i think she found shoes but her aunt got rid of them.
I don't remember the following scenes but I know that her body is like a toy and she end's up dead in a pile of trash where a big bear like boy finds her and falls in love with her. His name sounds kinda dumb like momo. Also, the girl wakes up because something/someone put a small triangular piece back into the back of her head and somehow that reanimates her? For the rest i only know they spend the entire adventure together, travelling space, meeting people. I think she has a royal blood but has been kicked out of the throne when she was really young. There is some kind of parlement under the ground of a planet, everything is grey and it's were her real royal sibling is, i think its a boy with blond hair.
At the end momo and the girl (i think her name ended with an A) both dies in a spaceship, momo pulls out the triangular piece from her head while kissing her to make sure she doesn't die in pain and that's pretty much all!

I dont think that Interstellar 5555 counts. For one, its a series of music videos, not anime, and because its not really that bizarre. A band of aliens is having a concert, theyre taken and made to look like humans and have concerts as humans, then an alien from their world breaks the mind eraser, they get chased the alien that freed them dies, the band goes back home and they play music or bothEarth and their planet now.
Not nearly as weird as something like Neon Genesis Evangelion, Serial Experiment Lain, or Fooly Cooly (all are masterpieces.

I can't believe interstellar 555 is considered bizarre like. its not even near jojos bizarre adventure, gyo or that cat anime, like spray tan on aliens is bizarre? That's normal in the world of anime. It would be bizarre if they had forced the skin of, experimented on them after being abducted or forced to work while conscious, but they where just brain washed and spray tanned to look human

No bro, Tekkonkinkreet translates as bitter concrete. Now Tekkin konkreet would be reinforced concrete, it's based on a mispronunciation of it by Japanese kids sometimes (which is in context, because of Shiro, who's basically the representation of child creativity, insights, open-mindedness, positivity and naivety. Cheers; )

Disappointed 'Night on the Galactic Railroad' wasn't on this list. It's based off a very old Japanese novel of the same name and instead of human characters - the film uses cats. The animation and art is very old school. Lots of religious undertones and also metaphors of grief, death, and moving on. Good film though.

Read the Paprika novel too guys, there are bits in it that are really neat, like Dr Tokita's rant about the impossibility of trying to convey cutting edge science that still hasn't words to convey how it works to layman, or the whole thing with the guys who tend teh bar and actually are Paprika's friends.

I watched this video to find an anime movie that was about 30 or 45 min long but it's not here. There's no dialogue in that either. It's looked a lot like angels egg. There's almost no conversations, and the little girl meets a man in a forest. And I don't know. It was odd.

Yeah those do look pretty weird but I am willing to watch every anime going because for some reason I like it. I do love bizarre films sometimes. It depends how bizarre. I found Spirited away and howl's moving castle to be quite weird but not as bad as these.

Tbh the Gyo movie has nothing to do with the original manga, I'm disappointed by the fact that they ruined such a master piece. The feeling I get from reading a Junji Ito's manga was not there at all, all it's charm has disappeared
