Movies That Only Make Sense If You Follow The Fan Theories Fin: Nice video but u forgot interstellar. Cooper is dead the whole time. The films begins with a crash during a testflight and nobody is talking about it, the behavior of all other poeple makes no sense at all. The nasa oder think of the end of this movie when he (a hero) arrives and nobody cares. He stands in front of his dying daugther and nobody is asking him something or even react to him. If u look closely the movie is constantly telling you this. Even dr. mann symbolizes his subconscious an tells him that we want to remember the faces of our kids when we are in a state of near death (google near death experience and tell me what pictures u see and then remember the design of the space station. There are many many more scenes. In the end he sees his spacecraft and remembers himself that he is dying and has to let go. Then he left the station. This makes otherwise absolutely no sense at all. But then you will say nah this couldn't be true, this near death experience is way to detailed for a dream but then u have to watch inception again.

I think fan theories are sometimes utterly ridiculous. Especially Willy Wonka, in the book they make it very clear what happens to the kids and that the entire trip was to just weed out the ones who were the bad ones. My theory as to the ending of Wonka is that the creators didn't want to go through the time or effort to show the scenes of what happened to the kids, which was shown in the Tim Burton remake, so it was just easier for the filmmakers to suggest that the others were simply returned to the world rather than become the next ingredients in tomorrow's fudge. I think some people have far too much time on their hands and like to make things darker than they are. Incidentally my fan theory regarding the Goonies is that the spirit of One Eye Willy is guiding the Goonies to his treasure by giving them the challenges to follow to prove they are worthy of his treasure. You may take that as you wish.

i always thought the grease ending was superidiotic they could end it with danny and sandy drive of to the sunset and then break up in college lol. but it was a musical and it was for teenagers so they thought of this moronic ending.
i dont agree about signs. they were aliens alright and maybe they didnt study the planet very well. maybe they discovered earth by accident they saw it was habitant planet and they decided to conquer it. same was with War of the worlds the aliens failed to notice that the oxygens earth would ve killed them so they
####2 in the end
In the end of the day these are movies and the writers dont care of giving realism in films i mean its like watching a marvel movie. Are you are expecting realism? the only thing i hate when they make the ending comfusing and they leave for the fans to make their own theories like inception. Just give a bad ending and get over it

Signs one is fairly simple. If you pay attention to the scene in which they are in the basement listening to the radio, the man says the aliens sent scouts to see the planet and they had already left, leaving the wounded and lost behind. It was not a full blown invasion. If you see the aliens, they looked scared (specially in the scene in which Phoenix is watching the Brazilian video tape that the alien runs. The aliens didn't know our planet had water, and probably didn't know it would kill them. That's why the veterinarian told Mel Gibson he was leaving to the lakehouse after locking one in the pantry, because the aliens by then knew the water would harm them.

I won't like i stopped looking half way through, why has no one mentioned Monty python and the quest for the holy grail? I have seen this movie so many times and only a few high and the only way the ending has ever made sense to me was watching it high. The whole world that the movie is set in is just a huge collection of LARPers who are taking on their roles to extreme levels of commitment. To me it's the only way the ending cam make sense since we never hear anything about portals or dimensions or time travel, just a whole bunch of people taking pretending to a whole new level of awesomeness.

Cobb being awake at the end is a happy ending? Since when?
If Cobb's memories are accurate and he's really awake, then that means that his wife Mal really did commit suicide, and is really dead.
But if he's still asleep, then Mal was right. And she didn't die, she just woke up.
If he's awake, then the kids have their father, and their mum is dead. But if he's asleep, then the (real) kids have their mother, and their Father is alive and living a happy dream with his dream-kids.
_That's_ the real happy ending.

Okay, I love The Goonies. I went to see it when I was like 8, and I enjoy it consistently. _But_ people not noticing the underground caverns and such is _far_ from the only lapse in logic. From the ridiculously implausible jail-break to Data's impossible gadgets to the centuries-old booby traps that still actually work (all highly dependent on ropes that somehow haven't rotted into dust, the movie is lush with absurdities.

I thoughts Signs was awesome, Merrill, swing away gave me chills.
While it doesn't make sense that the aliens would be so easily defeated, I don't know about the holy water theory.
On the news, they make mention of many people finding a primitive way to defeat them.
It also doesn't seem likely that these people were all the angel daughters of priests with the same quirk.

Oh, and the totem was never meant to prove that you're asleep by spinning, or defying physics or anything. It's just an object that no one else really knows three structure of.
If no one else knows how your totem feels, or how the weight is distributed then no one else can fake it. So they shouldn't be able to trick you into thinking you're awake when you're asleep.

I like the theory for Signs, but its not true. Its very understandable for an alien species to investigate a new planet, not knowing what theyll encounter or if theyre allergic to anything on it. The entire species leaves within 2 days of arriving. Lack of understanding how this could happen, shows a lack of understanding science
