Another one I can also think of that would be hard to adapt to the big screen from the Marvel Library would be Marvel Zombies. While the idea of bringing the superhero and the zombie horror genre may sound cool on paper, it unfortunately would be very controversial for movie viewers because the idea of seeing fan favorites like Wolverine, Spiderman, the Hulk, Iron Man, and Captain America as undead man eating corpses would not just shock and disturb audience but it would scar a lot of kids for life. No 5 year old wants to see Spider-Man as a zombie.

Just like DC's great use of storylines making them a great success with familiar fictional places, Marvel has also followed up with real life issues and incidents that carry out through violence and tragedy that carry out a huge message which is obvious to say that we won't always see what comes around the comic world into live action media, especially the great matchup for what The Justice League and The Avengers could look like on the big screen.

In the ultimate Marvel Universe, most X-Men perished. The Logan movie adapted this idea. The X-Men Movie Universe is not the MCU. The X-Men Extended Movie Universe is depicted somber and serious. In my opinion. The X-Men are not about only justice, but the theme is hope and struggle. It's basically Marvel's equivalent of the DCEU.

No where to go but down I disagree. When the current main plots of cinematic Marvel and DC are done, i would watch a crossover as mentioned here and would have no problem to watch afterwards origin stories again if they are wellmade. I think Looper in this case believes we the consumers are all singleminded.

Secret Empire was a damn good story arc. Let's face it, true comic book fans knew Cap wasn't really part of Hydra, and the concept was riveting. But yeah, I can't see any part of it into the MCU. Maybe as a animated movie though

There would be too many plot holes with a Marvel/DC crossover. There are already enough with Marvel solo films when it would be better/easier to always have all of the Avengers show up to defeat the bad guy.
