Here is a crazu show that didn't make a full season: The Hundred Lives of Blackjack Savage A corporate raider skips town ahead of the Feds and escapes to a Banana Republic. Here he is confronted by the ghost of a pirate condemned to hell unless he saves 100 lives for the 100 he took. To spare himself a similar fate the former billionaire, the pirate ghost and the drug runner mechanic they pick up do good across the Caribbean.

None of them compares to my personal favorite. (Rock & Mitty)
A show about a dim witted grandfather who tags along with his intergalactic genius grandson. Mitty.
They travel all over the galaxy getting drunk and commit all sorts crimes. like blowing up citadels and junk. good old Rock & Mitty

The Flying Nun shouldn't have been on the list. I agree with the arguments for it, but it should be on a list with its peers, other shows from the 50's, 60's & early 70's. There are pleny others (remember the Monkees) that could be on such a list.

Here's something that may interest you about The Flying Nun, the show is actually based off of a novel called The Fifteenth Pelican, written by an author named Tere Rios.

My Mother the Car, Mr. Ed, Gilligan's Island, Hogan's Heroes, Living Doll. focus on American TV from the 50's thru the 70's, and a whole lot of cringe will surface.

as much as I love the show, I am surprised that Dark Shadows gained such a following. Especially considering that it originally was a soap opera.

The Flying Nun was a good show to watch. Clean, Family fun. I know. It's not good to have clean, family shows any more.
