That said, I feel like the best way to go would certainly be along the lines of Marble Hornets style, just obviously with much higher production value, and much more condensed. Marble Hornets is the one cool thing that made Slenderman particularly big in my opinion. That said, it was very slow and boring, but the concept behind it was still good.
edit: oh damn I didn't realize Marble Hornets still made videos about it. I thought it had ended like 5 years ago or more. I guess I could check it out.

Art is not subjective. That's B. S. created by those who have no eye for Art, and lack good taste. But they wish to appear sophisticated in front of others with similar issues.
And, it's also promoted by talentless con-men masquerading as artists. Happy to take money from patrons who excel at making it, but desperately want to be seen as sophisticated to their peers. So, they fund the con-men while thinking they're funding great artists.
What is Art? Simply the creation of beauty for its own sake. No practical or pragmatic purpose. It is created to simply exist. For others to look at, admire and enjoy. It is the creation of beauty to balance out an ugly world. Creating beauty requires actual talent. Recognizing it requires good taste.

Alan Moore is a miserable man who think he makes high art and nobody should ever turn it into a movie. He is a goddamn comic book writer not even a comic book artist since he can't draw comics. i like the guys work but i can't stand the man and his self importance. if he felt that way about his writing he should have published the works on his own, but no instead he goes and writes for DC if that isn't selling out i don't know what is. He could have seen that coming beforehand with all the superman and batman series and films around. And he only has himself to blame, but instead he blames the people making the movies. What a joke that guy is

I watched Calligula because I like anything Roman and was pretty disgusted with it afterwords. I don't care what you show in it, just tell the story and I didn't feel they really told a coherent one. If you can't tell a story it's a bad movie. And in the end it felt like the film was an excuse to show trash. Sure a film about Calligula should have some trash in it probably. But a story worth watching too. I also felt some of the actors and actresses were trying very hard to portray their roles well, and I felt kind of sorry for them because it was not that kind of movie.

Another criticism that you left out about United 93 that the media experts glossed over was the director and script writers making the hijackers, particularly Ziad Jarrah a sympathetic family man.
The idea that those murderers were forced to act as they did and that stationing US troops on (supposedly sacred) Saudi Arabian soil or support for the state of Israel among Bin Laden's other complaints somehow justifies the heinous murder of 3, 000 people was gross contempt towards the families of 9/11.

Caligula An irresistible mixture of art and genitals. Helen Mirren. Her tone is sssoooo Helen Mirren. She is fabulous. Watchmen could have been an 1hr and 40m cartoon piece of crap to justify marketing merchandise from clothes, lunchboxes, cereal, action figures, Happy Meal collectibles, posters, bedding fake tattoos, and a Saturday morning cartoon. Not knowing a lot about the source material, I felt the care and respect that was given to it.

For anyone who is angered by the thought of UNITED 93, I say see the film and then make your decision. I personally believe you will discover that not only is it a respectful treatment of an event of which we know the outcome when the film begins.
I have never seen anything as terrifying as this movie, and I think many will see what I saw.

As an Evangelical Christian, I have resigned myself to the fact that my belief will continually be trashed, ridiculed and otherwise lampooned by Hollywood and other media. The very same people who would say that Christianity deserves to be trashed will scream, RACIST! BIGOT, etc. If you make any criticism of Islam.
