Abstract
Strong female leads we've been lacking?
Sigourney Weaver in the Alien series
Linda Hamilton in the terminator series
Carrie Fisher in Star wars
Demi Moore in GI Jane
Kate Beckinsale in Underworld
Milla Jovovich in the Fifth element and Resident evil
And that's just physical roles. What if we also went into roles where the women were just strong, intimidating characters like Louise Fletcher in One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, Faye Dunaway in Network, or Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct?
Just stop with the virtue signaling, women are so oppressed (in the west) nonsense.

Building up takes generally longer time than breaking down, except for the build up of unwanted fet reserves. Alicia lost all gained muscles in 3 weeks. Pity it requires so much effort to maintain a satisfying physic. Some people maintain it easier, and some can eat anything without worrying of gaining fat, but they often struggle gaining muscles as well. But some people has it all, being ripped, muscular and athletic and can eat almost anything without struggling to maintain their shape. For most people it is a frustrating struggle to achieve and maintain the wanted physic.

Awww poor babies had to wake up early and train for a few months to make a shit load of money. Plus training was paid for by production and probably food and everything else as well. Same reaction when I see male actors do the same thing. If someone said hey here is a fat ass check we want you to train and get in shape all expenses paid I would say oh wow this is amazing. More than most people earn in 20 years for 2-5 months of work.

Speaking of Lara Croft - From what I know, if it takes 3 weeks to lose all muscles, she was probably gaining it in a 'fast way'. Like in - low-ish weights and a lot of repeats, but higher weights and less repeats makes for a longer staying muscle. But that's highly debatable of course, im no expert. In her case, though, getting ready for a film, that was likely the ony way to get into Lara Croft shape, heh.

Why would anyone think there is a lack of female action roles? The first tomb raider movie came out more than 10 years ago. Before that there was Xena Warrior princess. So in the time we had female action roles there was enough time for a girl to be conceived and reach drinking age in the US. Why are people still moaning about lack of female action roles? Imo there are too many.

This is consider peak shape? pretty pathetic. These actress started out super thin with basically no muscle mass. So they put on a few pound of muscle (newbie gain at its easiest) with the help of a trainer and we're suppose to be impress? There are bigger women at the gym and they have a 9-5 job. The standard is so low compare to the men in hollywood.

Sure you can get some gains but please, they train months. you need to train alot longer to get som real gains, you can gain 10-15lbs in muscle over a YEAR of training if you are av average person not in a few months. they just more muscular because they grow a bit, lose some fat and you look bigger pretty fast.

It wasn't for an action movie but have to point out Anna Faris in 'The House Bunny. Primarily thought of as a comedian she
could definitely pull off a femme fatale role when she's in that kind of condition. and not to worry House Bunny had an underlying message of female empowerment yada yada

We're finally getting the female leads we've been lacking for decades. The only way you could say that is if you were born yesterday and can't google and don't watch any movies. Aliens, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, The original Tomb Raider, Terminator, the list goes on and on.
