What Really Happened To Gene Hackman?

What Really Happened To Gene Hackman? Vic: Gene Hackman is now an embittered actor. Sidney Poitier was his roommate for a while in NYC, Gene Hackman began to treat him with racist remarks. Dustin Hoffman was his roommate for a while. He abused their friendship because there is way Gene Hackman was going to be the same caliber of actor like Dustin Hoffman. Clint Eastwood gave the role in The Unforgiven and he came Clint Eastwood a hard time regarding the unsympathetic role he had. Gene Hackman is a hateful actor who even has prevented Paul Newman from getting a life achievement Oscar, and even HM Queen Elizabeth II is fed-up with Gene Hackman preventing actors like Clint Eastwood and Paul Newman getting Knighted -- Vic Alexander

Gene Hackman is one of the most respected American actors and one of Hollywood's most awarded actors. He has just about received every kind of award an actor dreams on. Although he often has played a villain, he has also starred in some very unique movies, such as THE CONVERSATION by Francis Ford Coppola, perhaps the best directors of modern times -- Vic Alexander, son of Nimrod who financed ALL THAT JAZZ directed by Bob Fosse, which won Best Picture and Best Actor for Roy Scheider, and my favorite MOBY DICK directed by John Huston and starring Gregory Peck in his greatest role playing Captain Ahab.

Gene Hackman is one of the nicest actors in Hollywood history -- with the exception of Dustin Hoffman -- but whenever Gene was on a movie, an actor would come along and say to him, Mr. Hackman, would you help my friend who's directing his first movie? Gene Hackman almost always said, Alright. That's the main reason he has won so many Oscars. It's also since he's a humanitarian as well. His only failure was that he did not recommend that Hedy Lamarr should receive a lifetime achievement Oscar; but nobody's perfect -- Victor Isaac Alexander

I am sure you want to bring back the movies of Hedy Lamarr. I am making a wild assumption of course, but I think you might know that Hedy Lamarr escaped from Austria were she was born as Eva Maria Kiesler before WW II broke out, and it may have been my father that rescued her from there. Anyway, if you want to be supportive of my efforts, then I want you back in this effort, and if not, it's alright too -- Vic Alexander. Oh, yes, see if you can use your influence in getting Hedy Lamarr a lifetime achievement Oscar.

Nothing left to prove. The man was/is a force of nature, and has been a huge part of my movie watching life. The Poseidon Adventure was one of my earliest favourite films, and I'd watch it over and over on VHS when I was a kid back in the early 80s. Then Superman, Unforgiven, and SO many more brilliant parts. I'm glad he's chilling out and just enjoying life.

Love his work but what you are saying is run of the mill! So he retired and want's to compose stories! Well that's my plan! I have not name to boost my popularity and I don't care anyway! I don't work in acting I work in industry! I just want to say what I want and if NOBODY reads it that is OK! They won't read his either! That doesn't degrade his talent!

Glad you did this, I think about a week or two, I heard audio on a paranormal radio show with bumper audio from 'Enemy of The State, ' and it had Gene in it. That made me think that you never ever here from the dude, I didn't know if he passed away, or just stopped acting all together. Not like he needs the money.

We miss you greatly. I thought you were so so funny in the movie, Heist. It was halarious! I don't think many have heard of the movie- A person could easily get the name of the movie confused with the movie named, The Heist, with Robert Denero. Heist and The Heist are two entirely different movies.

Love the guy! love his art, love that he's writing, painting and doing things for himself. He left the business on a good note, left a tremendous legacy, He's 89 yrs old he deserves to finish his life at the pace he wants after putting all this great work out in the world. God for him!

Only two actors have made me feel actually afraid while watching them on screen. Hackman frightened me in a movie called 'Prime Cut' and Milly Bobby Brown frightened me in an episode of NCIS. Both have the same presence and both literally made me afraid for a moment.
