The kid makes reference that he is like Tupac and Wade tells Vanessa to not cheat on him with Elvis Presley - both are famously known to have faked their own death and are still alive, alluding to the end of this movie where Deadpool dies and is brought back to life.
Bonus: Quicksilver in the X-men mansion is wearing a Nirvana t-shirt, as Kurt Cobain is also rumored to have died but still is living (and also did loads of cocaine - dang, so did Tupac and Elvis probably)

there was a hidden tribute rather then easter egg/cameo. When naming baby names Deadpool says Conner. This is most likely a reference to the 10 yr old deadpool fan of the same name who was battling cancer prior to the first movie's release. He met Ryan Reynolds through the make a wish foundation. Conner saw an advance screening of the movie shortly before he died. So its nice to see them honor the young fan

How bout what year is dp2 set in
I know how it shows the younger X men might be a home towards jow yhe timelines are ducked up. But when cable jumps time in the beginning it shows Ronald Reagan meaning it might be actually late 80's early 90's as is with DP's original appearance.
But why isn't fire fist that old in the future?
