I don't know. I don't know him personally, and I may be biased. but as an outsider looking in - which means my opinion is worth sh so don't fight me, just ignore it if you don't like- It seems like those money advisors were truly scamming him.
I'm just assuming, but his public persona isn't very. uh you know like that crazy new kid into the show bizz that goes from one social event to the other, thus it sounds unlikely he's the party hard kind of person - maybe he does, privately in his own house, but that shouldn't be as costly.
and well, I may be projecting all those movies and stories about backstabbers and the like _;

There was a dude dressed as Jack Sparrow taking tourists across Hollywood Blvd. Not sure if there is a Jack Sparrow impersonator doing this and posing for pics but the day I was there, it WAS the real Johnny Depp and he was getting kicks from pretending to be the impersonator.
