The Most Expensive Shows On Netflix Ever ZombieTex: Hemlock Grove was AWESOME! Critics are generally morons who are completely wrong half the time. I don't know why anyone pays any attention to them.
OINTB was also very good. The cast is HUGE, though. Prolly contributes to the high cost.
Altered Carbon set a new standard. Worth every penny they spent on it.
The other shows they listed never interested me at all.

Altered Carbon is probably the longest and most high quality Cyberpunk movie that isn't a movie in the first place, i know we have Blade Runner and GITS but this show is on a whole new level, it's presented in the way of a typical hollywood sci-fi flick but with the details and character development you'd only find in a novel.

Maybe if they ponied up for the marvel shows they wouldn't suck. First season of Daredevil was fantastic and it was just down hill from there. Not super into Jessica Jones' vibe, Luke Cage is a boring monotone dork, Iron Fist is a whiner that can't fight, and the Punisher just tripped over every stereotype possible.

No mention of Marco Polo or Lost In Space. Both those shows look really expensive.
Also, rumor has it that Sense8 was 9m per episode. So, that should be up there to.
And if Sense8 was 9m per episode then Altered Carbon would probably be 15+m per episode.

I loved hemlock Grove! Wish there were more seasons! would've loved to see d vamp n wolf tear dat scaly man to shreds. I loved that they were friends n not usual enemies. N dat the show had so many great angles n storylines

I must say, Altered Carbon may be one of the most expensive shows on the platform, but it's also one of the best. You can see where the production budget was spent. Really hoping they do as good a job with the second season.

Wait, did they just say that a 37k dress played a significant role in The Queen's 6. 5 to 13 million per episode price tag? That's like saying buying a candy bar at the check out aisle blew a hole in your monthly budget.

This sounds like some incredibly bad money management on some of these shows. How does this keep happening? These people are supposed to be professionals. How does the Get down end up costing 190 million.

No Marco Pollo? They canceled the show because either cost them too much. It was estimated season 1 cost over 90 million. However, it still is one of if not my most favorite Netflix show.

I thought that stranger things would be up there somewhere too or lost in space or something bc they look like they have a movie budget and it looks very realistic I love Netflix
