I don't understand why people don't want Elsa to get a girlfriend. You can be strong and still love someone, and it shows she's even stronger for loving whoever she wants and not being held back by society. And since we all know Elsa is strong, it shows you can love someone and be strong too. We have Merida and Moana to tell us you don't need a love interest to be strong, so we should have Elsa to show us you can be strong even when you are in love, because let's face it, Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora, and many other Disney Princesses aren't doing a good job at showing that. It would be so amazing if Elsa got a girlfriend because it would re-enforce to kids that you can love anyone no matter what their gender is, it would also show that lesbian/gay people are strong too, and it would also represent gay people around the world, and possibly even help some people realise they are too, or accept that they are. It would be incredible since Disney is so well known throughout the world and so is Frozen, it could possibly even make the world more accepting of gay people. I really hope they do it.

Elsa shouldnt be a lesbian Im all for lgbt but they need to realize kids are impressionable and will do whatever their hero does. If my daughter tells me when she gets older and has her own adult mindset of the situation of being gay I wouldnt have an issue but for a 3 year old telling you Elsa likes girls so I want to like girls is an issue. Its not homophobia just more of let my little girl be a kid without shoving gay views and religion at a young age. We all have to figure ourselves out as we age and she will do that just not with Elsas help of being gay. Elsa being alone is a way better concept anyways. Shes a strong woman who showed every little girl that anything is possible and how to be strong in any situation. My daughter walked proud as a girl and it showed her that woman are just as strong as men in this world. Now thats an Elsa everyone loves and should agree with not one that people want for shock value to please ADULTS. Sorry for the shocking news but frozen is a kids movie.

As someone who thought Frozen was ok at best, this sounds really promising so far. The weakest parts of the original was the love story and the villan story, and really just the main plot. The REALLY GOOD part of the movie was the dynamic between the 2 sisters. And theyre both great characters on their own. But I hope that Elsa doesnt become TOO comedic though. Her seriousness is what made her interesting to me. Also dont call it Frozen 2: Strange Magic. Has ANYONE seen Strange Magic 2015. Just imagine Epic from 2013 but instead of being an ok family movie its a horrendous pop musical that no one should ever be subjected to watching. So Ill want to see Frozen 2 as soon as possible because Ill want to experience it before it becomes to overplayed and overly popular.

I heard a rumor that Hans will have a redemption arc. If they are going to swap the trolls for the hidden folk maybe the Hans was cursed by the trolls so Anna would dump him theory could be confirmed. It would fix that giant plot hole of Hans's betrayal coming out of nowhere.
I don't foresee Disney giving us a lesbian (or bi) princess/queen because that's still a bit controversial, but if they did it would be a brilliant marketing decision. Frozen has a princess and a queen; add another queen to the mix and doll sales will go through the roof! Elsa might not need to have kids because Anna's future kids can be her heirs, but she'll probably need someone to rule by her side.

Most people are either against Elsa having a love interest at all or not having her be gay but tbh, I think it wouldn't be a bad idea. We're waiting 6 years just to see the second movie which in my opinion is a long time so I high hopes for the second one. And I think giving Elsa a lesbian love interest isn't a bad idea since we don't really have any lgbt Disney characters. I mean there probably is some but something that stands out a little more and that is very obvious. Nobody should really care anyways plus Disney has already made princesses without love interests so honestly, I'm really excited and hope Elsa is gay.

I kinda didn't want Elsa to be gay. I love Elsa, don't get me wrong, and I am also a lesbian, but they didn't intend her to be gay initially and are just catering to what some of the fans want. People assumed she was gay because she didn't get a love interest in the first film, which, to me, is bizarre. When did she have time for a love interest? She was busy discovering who she was, her relationship with her sister, her relationship with her Kingdom as Queen and overcoming her social magical anxiety. She had a lot on her plate. I honestly wouldn't be looking for Prince Charming either with all of that going on.

My first reaction: is it really necessary for Elsa to have a love interest? It would just take away the focus in how she gets to accept herself as someone more than who can manipulate snow and ice. Also, I just can't see her with someone else. She's better off as an independent woman. Historically speaking, queens are more powerful without kings, right? Kids nowadays, especially girls, shouldn't be brought up with wild fantasies of finding their prince or true love to find their happily ever after when they can find it all by themselves.

As awesome as it would be to have Elsa as a part of the LGBT+ community, I can't see her having a romantic partner of any gender, and neither can a lot of the people working on Frozen apparently. We don't want a character to have a place that they don't fit into. Elsa doesn't need a love interest and shouldn't have one. I'm sure in the future we'll get LGBT+ representation, we just have to wait for the right time. (I also personally love the working title of Frozen: Strange Magic, but the hiddenfolk might be a bit out of place)
