I am in the minority when it comes to Terrifier. I really did not like the movie. Maybe it was the INSANE over hype it had (goriest movie in over a decade, one scene extremely shocking, goes where few movies dare to go, and. nope. Standard slasher fare. I just don't see that clown being creepy or scary. He's just annoying to me. All characters were deplorable, which makes the death scenes even less impactful. But that's just my personal opinion. I'm glad for the people that loved it, it just wasn't for me. Cheers everyone!

If you haven't seen the first movie 'All hallows eve' which first features 'Art the clown', I suggest watching that one first. to see if you can stomach that one before watching 'Terrifier' which has another actor playing Art, but you would never guess, if anything he's even scarier! I loved them both but once was enough for me. If you are truly afraid of clowns. I recommend giving this a pass as Art is a demon clown, I found Art much more sadistically disturbing than Pennywise. from IT -2018 version.

I try and watch most of the horror that comes out. There hasn't been a decent blockbuster horror film in a long time.
Unfortunately most STV horror films aren't worth your time either however Terrifier was an exception. Typically I don't care much for movies which heavily rely on gore. Terrifier although incredibly gruesome at times doesn't rely exclusively on guts and blood alone in order to Terrify.
If you can only choose on scary clown movie to watch skip the remake of IT and watch Terrifier.

Just watched Terrifier tonight. If you go into it expecting to be horrifying (I did, I think you'll be disappointed. Acting is bad, decision-making is worse, and the clown often comes off more comical than anything else. But if B-movie gore is your thing, you'll be entertained. I also watched Malevolent tonight. Much, MUCH better in terms of actual horror. Acting was very solid, decision-making was pretty darn good overall, and the sense of dread as definitely there.

Wildling was amazing. I liked it, what a lot of people don't know is that not only is Liv Tyler in it, but so is Brad Dount. The Young lead is amazing as well. I don't understand how Hereditary isn't on here. Or A Quiet Place. Both good quality well done movies. Terrifier is a 80s horror typical slasher. It was well done for that purpose. Unrealistic with the saw scene it would have taken longer. Just saying. I am surprised Raw wasn't on here as well.

This might be an unpopular opinion but terrifier was a bad movie, not that it wasn't enjoyable, it had nice effects, and a fun character, but the plot was awful, and seemed like the ending was thrown in without thinking, it doesn't make sense, but, a good horror movie and an enjoyable one are very different things.

I watched Terrifier after seeing it on this video. I had never heard of it and I was not disappointed! Fantastic horror movie! really one of the better ones, it was nice to see the old feel to the movie and not over the top CGI and special effects, Terrifier made the scares feel real and unexpected

I totally misread the video. For some reason, I thought it implied these were 2018 horror movies were on Netflix. And I'm like, The Strangers is on Netflix, not the sequel. Took me a hot minute to figure it out. On a related note, I WAS planning on playing The Strangers tonight.

Terrifier is overrated. it's dull, unoriginal exploitation horror with no credible characters, with shock value to make up for this. this is why we need to stop computer nerds making films and go back to genuine storytelling in the horror genre I. e the exorcist, the omen.
