Thank you Looper those are life saving advice. Not being sarcastic I actually mean. My favorite don't is not to give your neighbors a reason to kill you because I do not want my friends to go against me, my favorite do is leave the country because I already have a system if the Purge does happen but first way before The Purge does happen I will build a log cabin in Canada then here is my system:
5 days before The Purge: Pack all my things I don't want to have stolen (because obviously The Purge is a holiday when all crime is legel)
4 days before The Purge: Pack my clothes
3 days before The Purge: Go to Costco and get some food I would have for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (optional: some snacks)
2 days before The Purge: just chill before I go off to Canada
1 day before The Purge: off to Canada
Purge night: Chillin' at Canada
The day after The Purge: Go back home
What does anyone think of my system? Useful to anyone

what lock-in does not work i rather be in a big ass group or truck with a turret gun shit or rockets launchers or hell i rather be a sniper on a tall roof doing the killing if this was real do not do what the sandins did you get your ass killed like the father and knock out your kids the daughter i think got them killed cause her boyfriend family did not make it or something i do not remember this it from 2002 shit. i was born in 1991 so hardly remember anything beyond my 20 and under memories. for me, i get a gilly suit and Have me a sniper with a silencer and hide in the woods in my gilly suite

Killing and stealing are sins, and even though it is legal for the purge it is still not legal to God. I recommend keeping a trained German Shepard with you so it can attack whoever wants to attack you. Maybe keep a gun that knocks people out when they get shot with the dart. I'd honestly stay home with my family, pet kitten, (maybe a dog) and dart gun thingy. Please don't go out killing, don't disobey God!

Question if you steal money, would you need to report it as income during tax time? How bout stealing a car, would you need to get it registered at the BMV and get insurance on it? How would you get the title signed over? Also if you tried to murder someone but they didn't die till after the purge night ended would you be charged with murder?

I would seriously hide in the Forrest, bring a tent and set it up as bate. Set up a 40 feet by 40 feet perimeter with some kind of way to alert me of anything coming, then just Sleep in the upper trees in some kind of hammock with a Glock while doing my taxes on my mobile phone. Hahah problem solved solved.

Staying in seems like a simple answer but also means you still run chance of people breaking into your home and you most likely being killed. But yeah leaving country before starts is way better and safer and you can sleep nice and easy knowing you have a very low chance of being killed in your sleep

Here's what I would do. Make a vacation plan a week before it starts. Try to get everyone I care about to go. Then head off as fast as I can. And maybe I would stay and just have fun remembering the good old days when people wouldn't threaten you with death threats they could get away with

0: 55 my preparations would just involve me sitting in a locked room (locked from the inside of course) with my dog, YouTube, and bags of chips and sodas. Oh and a shotgun and a fully automatic assault rifle, and maybe a smoke bomb if i have to make a quick escape
