Theres the classic one everyone is mentioning about running upstairs or to the basement when running away from the killer; also looking behind while running away and falling off taking so long to get back up that the killer always reaches them; the guy in the Blair witch project throwing the map away; every horror movie where no one questions the idea of staying in a random unknown place that looks shady and creepy af; and the list goes on and on!

What about the movie Life where they send CDC Agent C's get degrees Sue into space to oversee the quarantine of the first alien life form humanity has ever encountered with predictably disastrous results
Or the newest Jurassic World where the Mosasaur lagoon does not even have an Airlock although I suppose that has little to do with the main cast save Claire maybe

Lambert was scared out of her mind, that doesn't rank as dumb to me. Seriously, did you guys take any time to consider what an actual person would do if faced with the unknown? When frightened to the bone you're body naturally takes on either fight or flight and lastly they could just freeze which basically could fall under flight but whatever.

Disagree with no! completely. People react to scary things differnt ways. If I saw an alien coming towards me who just killed my mate I think I would react the same way. They had no weapons. The aliens stands double their size. It has already wiped half the crew out. You know you're lunch food at that point.

I love Looper but just imagine a big xenomorph standing in front of you. I'd love to see your reaction then. Lambert's reaction was silly but very realistic. Prometheus has many dumb moments but I still love it. Halloween Resurrection is by far the worst Halloween movie though

The Halloween Resurrection one was especially baffling because. how would Laurie even recognize her brother? It wasn't until the second movie she even remembered she had a brother, twenty years pass, and somehow she would instantly confirm Yeah, that's my blood relative.

Whoa there! Lambert's reaction is very common when people (and many animals) are confronted with situations like that. They freeze, and it's not a reaction they can usually help. Less 'dumb' than falling victim to her own body' unconscious reactions.

You forgot one. The adpoptive mother in silent hill. ignores all the scary stories about silent hill. ignores her husband, and ignores the Policewoman to go and investigate an abandoned town in the middle of the night. with a child in tow.

Can't say I fully blame the Saw bit- the guy was panicking and in that kind of situation, you're expected to think less and act more. Many of the others ones though (especially the one from aliens) are a bit more debatable though.
