Flash is faster than Superman. Period. DC said so when they ranked the fastest characters on its universe and Superman stood on. 4th, right behind two flashes and the reverse flash. He also does not need the treadmill to travel through time because 1) Flash is faster than light and 2) Blackest Night? Did you read it? The cosmic treadmill is merely a device to help him focus.
Wolverine versus Hulk: true, Hulk is physically stronger than Wolvie's in every aspect, but Hulk himself has stated: he cannot kill Logan. That alone should show reasoning behind the rivalry: a green monster whose strength only grows, versus the mutant who cannot be killed by said monster? Also, Wolverine is centuries old, also has super strength and combat experience in several aspects Hulk does not. So yeah, he's a match for Hulk.

I had to stop at the Flash vs superman one. Firstly and most prominent, DC finally officially posted a top 10 fastest characters in DC, superman is 4th, behind Wally west (1st, Barry Allen (2nd, and reverse flash(3rd. Now that that's out of the way, you made superman sound way more overpowering on paper, as if running really fast is actually the only thing The flash can do, the treadmill thing was taken out of continuity, all top 3 runners with the flash name can travel through time just by running, as long as no other speedster is siphoning the speed force. Going back to the treadmill though, who was it who stopped the anti monitor? The flash, the Lex Luthor/brainiac hybrid who was one manning the whole justice league? The flash. The Flash family just suffers from always always holding back, because if they do go 100% they risk death or shattering the space/time continum. Theirs a reason superman always goes to the Flash when he genuinely doesnt know what the F to do & needs an answer Asap. Put some respek on The Flash

1) Batman vs Superman makes a lot of sense! in that specific comic at least, it is clear that Batman is '' god of his own self '' and acts according to his own, individualistic principles; on the other hand, Superman is a government lackey with collectivist principles and lives according to what the human beings have chosen for themselves to live with and be governed by. We also know that Batman always has a contingency plan (even against his fellow superhero friends) and Superman was weakened before their fight.
2) Superman is stronger that Shazam! despite that magic is one of the most notable weaknesses of his. Ok they share some similarities but Superman's potential is nearly limitless and has a huge variety of powers.
3) Flash is faster than Superman. that' s not to say that Superman is very very fast BUT Flash taps into the Speed Force- which is something beyond the physical world we all can directly perceive through our senses. Enough with this joke!

The Flash Superman rivalry is dependant on the RULES of their race. Flash IS the Fastest man alive. PERIOD. he moves faster than anyone or any thing. EVEN superman. However, If we allow Superman to FLY then that's were things get iffy. While both have super speed (with Flash being much higher than Superman) Superman in flight moves faster than Flash can run. Both have been known to move fast enough to break the time barrier and travel through time, but as Flash uses the Speed Force as a tunnel he can time-travel more easily than Superman who has to worry about affecting the environment around him when in flight. Superman can ONLY keep up with Flash if he's flying Also Flash usually never pushes himself all that much in day to day activities. His default speed is generally sufficient for whatever he needs.

Kyle replaced Hal, which was a pure sales driven move by DC (complete with character assassination of Hal to bolster Kyles image, Hal was the best friend of Barry Allen, the original Silver Age Flash and uncle of Wally West, making Hal something of an uncle to Wally. Along with the entire idea that Wally earned the right to be Flash with decades of service as Kid Flash.
And Captain Marvel is only better known as Shazam to the current crop of his fans, as opposed to older fans who actually know Shazam as the Wizard, and Captain Marvel as the Big Red Cheese.

In a way, I understand Superman vs Batman, and I hate it. The problem is there is no way old Batman could possibly stand a chance against Superman, so he has essentially become Superman in the comics. All you need to do is say He's Batman, and he can get away with quite literally anything. For instance, in the recent comics, he was all alone, had both arms and legs broken, and was attacked by the Legion of Doom. Problem? Nah, he just used one of Lex's old power armors he happened to have laying around. Then he didn't need to use his arms and legs, and easily destroyed the legion members that attacked. Makes no sense at all, but, you know. He's Batman. Sigh. I miss the good, old days when Batman wasn't a solve everything plot device.

Its not rocket science to work out the fued between Bats and Supes especially in the Dark Knight returns. Bats issue is that Superman is being used as a weapon by the US government, Clark is too naive to not even think about how that could go badly. Clark has been sent by the authorities to go after Bruce because hes gone back to crime fighting and because hes making the officials look bad.
In regards to Supes just downright murdering Bats. Bruce has mentioned that Clark is physically capable but mentally not capable as Clark is too much of a boy scout and plays by the rules that we wouldnt downright murder Bruce. If that possibility ever arose thats why Bruce has contigency plans

The Batman vs Superman fight isn't about strength or powers; it's about ideals. Their clash is based on their individual views of the world - Batman sees a world of dark and shadow, whereas Superman sees hope and light. Even in the fight in TDKR, it was about what they stood for. True, Batman had to weaken Superman to have a fair physical fight, but it was never about winning hand-to-hand. Batman came out on top because he was willing to cross lines Superman never would. The way they operate is so different that it would be inevitable that they would end up clashing here and there.

I agree on the Superman vs Shazam one, I get that they're similar characters and their history is somewhat intertwined, but why does DC have such an obsession about pitting Superman against Shazam, there's no logical reason they should be fighting since they're essentially the same character, and DC always find some BS reason to have them fight whenever they meet, and when they're not fighting, Superman always HAS to have a cameo in every major Shazam story, like some poster boy that's just there to remind everyone how much better he is, screw DC for wrecking such a great character.
