How can it be decimation? Literal meaning of decimation to clear something to10%, while Thanos cleared population to 50%.
even I can't find thia word in trailer, also I don't think that Marvel will name Thanos event such a grammatically incorrect name. This word is just named by you guys to use as a clickbate. So lame.

but if one person is born every minute what happens to them? because there are always new people being born and theres no way to get rid of exactly half of the population. like if a woman is giving birth at the same time of the snap does the baby die? at what point, is a human 'alive'?

Please, that doesn't sound any more brutal or threatening than Oh, snap! No, he di-ent! It's too bad that The Purge is already taken, or else that would have been a better name. Unfortunately, there apparently aren't any other cool-sounding synonyms for decluttering the Universe.

I guess they dont know the actual meaning of the word decimation. It means one out of ten. The snappening eliminated 5 out of 10, so 5 times more harmful than a decimation. Idiots

The decimation? To decimate something is to remove 1/10 of it. Mercy is a much better name, 1 it actually makes some what sense, and 2 it actually has a reason.

Decimation is what Romans used to do to punish the legions. They would kill one out of ten legionaries. The name decimation doesn't really make sense.
