I think that Hawkeye will once again be under utilized and minimized due to lack if good story telling and lack of passion for the character by both the directors and the writers to focus on the rest of the cast that will bring in big money (i. e. Capt. Marvel, Iron Man, Capt. America, Black Widow's cleavage) Then his mantle will be passed on to the new Hawkeye. I feel sorry for her because if she is treated like Clint was she will get minimal screen time, only appear in the team up movies and or used in ways that will negatively impact the Hawkeye image (like intro her as a villain for the first half of the movie then have her switch sides and have little to no character build in the movie)
Clint taking on the Ronin identity was really cool in the comics, I just wish they could have built the Hawkeye character up more before changing him out. Give him more team up opportunities line black widow had with both Tony and Steve.

Maybe somewhere between the Infinity War, Nick fury and Maria hill visited Hawkeye and said about the skrulls and Captain Marvel. When he learned about that they were still lurking around the globe, he appoints Clint to be the killer of those aliens. Believing in his skills, Fury gave him the Ronin suit.
Nick got know about the Skrulls be alive in the earth may be happened between Age of Ultron and Civil War that is the reason we didn't see Fury, Hill and Dr. Erik Selvig (maybe he was with Fury.
I still believe that Captain Marvel will be the final power to stop Thanos.
And later in the Endgame, we will get the info about more aliens existence on the world and that may lead Fury on a series of events to stop the invasion from those unkind things beginning with Far from Home.

You know there's a little Easter egg that nobody is talking about and it came from season 5 of agents of shield. When Hunter saved Fitz in episode 5, he was talking about his relationship with Bobby and he says a very subtle phrase it was all good until the ninjas showed up. I think this is going to be huge in the future seasons. I also feel as though Hawkeye found out that one of his family members is a skroll so it's very possible that all of this shows up soon. I wish you guys would talk about this too.

Isnt ronan the guy the guardians beat in the rue first movie? Wouldnt surprise me if they call him something else because of that. Hollywood tends to think people arent smart enough to handle two characters with the same name.

When hawkeye/ ronin was being mind controlled my Loki he nearly took down fury ship in the first avengers hawkeye is lethal and trust me he will be x100000 lethal in avengers 4

I hope they show him killing the men that are laid before him in the trailer. Ronin is gonna be a complete bad ass in this film!
