Venom Writer Teases A Spider-Man Crossover Instantaneous: Venom is fighting someone who utilizes sound in their attacks and the constant pressure splits Eddie and the Symbiote apart. Seperated and unable to find each other, the symbiote wanders until it finds a new host; Spider-Man. Peter keeps the symbiote for a bit and the symbiote gets very attached, so much so that it starts influencing Peter negatively, as we've seen before. Peter's had enough and forces the symbiote off of himself, which leads the symbiote to posses a bunch of people to get back to Eddie, much like Riot did in the original Venom movie. Venom goes back to Eddie, his grudge against Spider-Man urges him to take full control over Eddie's body, and he sets out to get back at Spider-man. Eddie tells Venom to back off and the Symbiote doesn't let up, no matter how many times Eddie says no, and that's how he gets to fighting Spider-Man. Maybe Eddie's reluctance to kill Spider-man holds Venom back a bit and weakens him, giving Spider-man the edge in their fight or something. I don't know, just an idea I've had in my head since I first saw Venom in theaters.

Maybe Tom Holland Spider Man will start becoming a photographer, and he will meet Tom Hardy Eddie Brock during his job. As Peter is becoming more successful, Eddie starts to develop a hatred for Spider Man, but he wants to do no harm to him. But Venom wants to kill Spider Man, and Eddie can control him no longer to do it. And if Venom is a good guy in his stand alone movie, maybe his mission would be to kill only Spider Man and do no harm to anyone else, unless they have a strong relationship so Peter Parker. And maybe not have the symbiote on Spider Man just so it is not a complete copy of Spider Man 3. So sort of like a modern version of Spider Man 3, but with the current actors, no extra villains, and not having the symbiote on Spider Man could work (or at least have the symbiote first on Eddie since he already has it. That could work. Or maybe he symbiote leaves Eddie and joins with Spider Man, and Eddie wants it back. That could also work.

Is there anyone that thinks that the Venom movie was terrible? Or is it just me. I really thought it was bad, and I tried to like it. I can see how a kid or someone who hasnt seen a lot of movies would like it, but it was just too silly, childish, and lackluster. I thought the Venom design was amazing though. So I hope Sony doesnt mash up Venom and Spider-Man but rather MCU mashes Spider-Man with Venom somehow. They make good movies. I didnt like Spider-Man Homecoming either, and Im a massive Spider-man fan. Loved the look of the suit though, same as Venom. If its really just me, feel free to call me out and destroy me.

I dont see why cant they just have 2 Spidermans out, i mean 2 Spidermans that arnt connected, So Tom Holland as Spiderman in the MCU Movies and maybe someone else playing Spiderman in the Sony Universe. I mean i would love seeing Tobey Mcguire as Spiderman again, specially in the Venom movie. He could be a older and much experience Spiderman, i think its better than having a young Kid(Tom Holland) fighting against or with Venom against Carnage, and since it isnt in the MCU they could make it even R-rated!

I think worst thing they could do would be to let Ruben Fleischer direct the sequel. He will just ruin Tom as Spider-Man. They havent done well it the past with Spider-Man, they may of made a lot of money off venom but the score overall was poor. Spider-Man into the spidy verse was the only great thing they managed to do. Id rather Tom Holland as Spider-Man be remembered as amazing and do no more movies as Spider-Man then do one with venom and ruin him.

Personally I don't want to see this crossover.
Because I want to see our friendly neighborhood Spiderman as a AVENGER.
This spidy (Tom Holland ) is good because of MARVEL character are involved in it like Tony stark in homecoming.
But if everything goes back like Andrew Garfield Spiderman then there is nothing special about it (Tom Holland Spiderman) and ultimately this thing does a negative impact on Spiderman popularity.

I dont think they should do a fight between the two characters, simply because of the fact that u want the main villain in the second movie to be carnage. What they should do is add peter in the third movie.
Maybe they should use Andrew Garfields Spider-Man only because the age is similar. But Tom Holland is my fav live action spidey so I wouldnt mind seeing him at all.

It's such a mess comic continuity in mind. It don't really matter what they do as long as they put them together to sell the film. No mention of secret wars, the fight, the training Eddie undertook etc, life foundation and the gauntlet, the brain eating disease that came later down the line the longer the bond. Still liked watching it but criticism for continuity is strong.

as we live and breath. nothing new to see spiderman swings and jumps and reborns over and over again. so spidey-venom crossover is likely to happen. but mcu-others crossover is potentially ruins a franchise in a long run so it is likely impossible to happen. so right after tom holland done with avengers. there will be another reboot upcoming

Here would be a possible plot:
Venom wanted to return to his homeworld for some reason, hitchhikes on a space shuttle, shuttle crashes, Spiderman to the rescue, gets the Symbiote, insert Eddie Broke wanting Venom back because he's gonna die if he doesn't make out with Venom again.
