Great 2018 Movies That Critics Were Totally Wrong About ImmaPandaRawr: Are you joking? Fantastic Beast was terrible. Im a super Harry Potter fan. Even my wedding was Harry Potter themed and I left that movie feeling insulted. Not only was the plot mediocre, it was boring. Character development was thrown out the window. It just wasnt put together well. It had potential but it was wasted on filler for the next film. If they had let the focus be in Newt and his magical creatures instead of Grindelwald and his crimes like the first film did it would have done better I think.

I've never seen The Spy Who Dumped Me, thank whatever gods may be (if any, but your coverage here sounds like Hollywood once again lacking any imagination or creativity and digging out an old successful script and making slight changes and hoping their target market never saw the original. The original, of course, being Outrageous Fortune. The 2 major changes I see here is that the spy wasn't boffing both women in the Dumped pic and in Outrageous he did indeed dump both women.

I was irritated by Venom for it's tone. It was entertaining but seriously what did it want to be!
Don't get me started on Fantastic Beasts. I hated what they did to the characters and they are setting up too many sequels.
But at least you put The Spy Who Dumped Me on the list. Definitely one of my favorite films of 2018.

Well critics are only valued for a technical analyst.
When they start using terrible, juvenile they are pushing their personal bias.
Sharknado sucks ass. dialogue, pacing, etc etc. but they are fun as shit to a target audience.
It is getting where you could use bad reviews as advertising.

The Meg has probably the worst writing in a movie i have ever seen, They literally go underwater in a shark cage just so Jason Statham has to dive into the water and be a hero. I was really hype for that film but it has NO place on this list, Sharknado has better writing and that says all you need to know.

No Venom sucked! It doesn't even follow the source material. You fans that want comic book movies to follow the source material, then you go out of your way to say the critics were wrong when they panned a movie that didn't follow the material are hypocrites!

Just because people went to see a movie or it made money doesn't make it a good film. Critics were right to be harsh to every one of these films, with Venom having a few exceptions. It wasn't a good movie, but it didn't deserve such harsh criticism

ehhhh, crimes of grindelwalt was pretty mediocre. the only real good parts were newt and grindelwalt himself, and he didnt even show up that much. and he shouldnt have made that forced ''I hate Paris'' joke at the end.
Loved venom tho

Fantastic beast and venom were half ass money grabs. Both could of great. . Basicly because its harry and venom fans enjoyed being in those worlds. But come on! As far as movies go. not good. Fans have more respect for the stuff you love geez

Rampage was not good. It was fun but it is a video game movie after all so over course it is bad. The corporate villains were cliche. The most fun with those characters though were seeing them die when the monsters killed them.
