Kylo felt the pull of the light because he isnt naturally a dark side user and that is why he had to kill Han because Snoke was beginning to suspect him. Maybe Han knew it as well.
Rey is a Kenobi, and the Skywalker and Kenobi line start the new Jedi.
Force ghost Luke helps train new Jedi and the new movies are redeemed. But this won't be the story because why make it awesome.

Star wars really needs to dump the idea of whole planet biomes: forest planet (moon); desert planet; ice planet; city planet; jungle planet; other desert planet or gas planet (I'll give them that last one. Because planets are ROUND they HAVE to have different temperatures/climates across them. NY large topological features will change thing too. We KNOW this we LIVE on a planet, we do know how they work. If star wars writers have learned ANYTHING about geography (they might not have) that could be either Yavin 4 or Endor's Moon (Emperor suggests Endor. It would be difficult to impossible to have the rainfall to support a tropical rainforest or temperature rain forest biome without large open water SOMEWHERE on the planet (Moon? Endor's Moon is an Earth-sized moon of a gas giant in the habitable zone right. Side note any ocean would be sort of nuts due to tidal interactions with Endor.

Emperor Palpatine will return as the main villian of this movie. In fact he's the main villian of the entire Star Wars saga. He's the one pulling all the strings in everything. I think that Palpatine created Snoke using the midichlorians like when he mentioned in Revenge of the Sith, Darth Plagueis used the midichlorians to create life. Palpatine used Snoke as a puppet, and he probably viewed Kylo Ren as just a wannabe Vader as Snoke would put it, You're no Vader, you're just a child in a mask. But when Snoke died, Palpatine decided that he had enough of apprentices and using people to track down the good guys because the good guys always get away. So he just decided to come back as maybe a force ghost or a clone like in legends and as our boi Thanos would say it, Fine, I'll do it myself.

they are going to try to make us believe that Kylo and Rey are twins like Luke and Leia. Rey never got any formal training from anybody. So she's no Jedi nor can she be a Jedi ever. Luke was not a mentor to her (because he refused. And if she were Luke's daughter) he kinda woulda had an idea of her when they met. The only Skywalker is Kylo. But he is a Solo first. He is never going back to the light (after killing his father and his mentor Snoke. Anything they try will contradict what they have already stated or denied. They have delayed the movie release as much as they can (Christmas 2019) because they know that a fan backlash is inevitable. Whatever Episode 9 brings, fans are going to hate it.

Can we just start all over from the beginning when there were force users way stronger than Anikin? Or just give us a new story line. These latest Star Wars films are almost trash. Look at the battles, they are night and day. We barely saw any force action in the last one where as in the Clone Wars, Phantom Menace, and Revenge of the Sith we saw force jumps, force push, force chokes, force floats, mind control, electric shock, force absorption. What did we get in these last two? Oh that's right. we got lame light saber action with Rey. Give me characters like Darth Maul, or Count Doku, or General Greivus, or any of the Fetts (Boba! These new villains are straight trash.

And why would they change jedi to Skywalker when 1st of all Anakin betrayed the jedi and became darth vader, Luke abndoned the order when Ben Solo became kylo ren

Rey is not a Skywalker, in the sense of being family related to Luke, she's the chosen one of the prophecy in the Prequels I think. Because maybe the big reveal is that Palpatine created Anakin with the Force to mislead the Jedi and to become the emperor and he mastered also Plagueis' way of immortality (rebuilding his body somehow with the Force probably. But the real chosen One created by the Force itself is Rey, that's why her parents are nobody! She will annihilate somehow Palpatine and Skywalker at this point will be the name of the new Jedi, it would make sense.

Hummmm. I think we are over-thinking this. Sometimes the teaser-trailer is the best it ever gets, and the movie is nothing like it. And Disney-LF isn't the only studio-distributor that does that. Misleading? Probably. We have 8 months filled with leaks, rumors, speculation and theories, lots and lots of theories. Most of which will not relate to the final cut. They'll send out the actors to show up on every tv talk show, repeatedly interviewed and not saying a damn thing. I don't envy them trying to be clever with answering the same questions over and over.

I'm betting the title is down to this being the movie where we find out of the true origin of the Skywalker bloodline. Darth Sidious wanted a force user whose body was strong enough to contain his own essence, then he'd transfer his consciousness into them. Vader obviously would have been his first choice, but ended up more machine, than man. The next choice was Luke, but Luke resisted the dark side and Vader turned on the Emperor. The Rise of Skywalker is the origin story. There's no new Skywalkers.
