Why the hell are people so worried about the direwolves and Nymeria's wolfpack fighting in this battle? As far as I'm aware, they do NOT have dragonglass teeth or Valerian steel claws. And I'm pretty sure they aren't planning to light themselves on fire or carrying torches into battle. So someone explain to me what good these wolves are going to do against the Dead.
Not trying to rain on the parade here but just trying to be realistic. I don't see anyone else bringing up this extremely valid point!

The ancestors are dead most are dust the others are bones. All the other white walkers minions have brains and blue eyes cant do that to skeletons. Plus I think White Walkers have to have a connection to killing the person to reanimate them. Plus the Wight was locked in a wood box and couldn't get out in the earlier episode. So I don't think they can escape a coffin made of stone with a stone statue on top of it. Who knows who really cares we know they are all going to win in the end

What is he going to raise from a crypt? bare brittle bones? bodies don't take that long to decompose. Robb and Ed must be bones by now and Lyanna has to be almost dust after nearly 3 DECADES of decomposition. And even then, if they were written to raise from the dead, only Stark members are meant to be buried in that crypt, i don't think a handful of severely decomposed skeletons would be able to subdue the whole civilian population of Winterfell. just my two cents.

They have a walkie talkie seer in a wheelchair inside the castle, yet he cant see where the night king is, or where the army is going to attack from, also the word crypt being overused and used to hide women and children and seniors, in a mass underground GRAVEYARD. HBO really dropped the ball or for some magical, lord of light reason the undead cant be turned inside the crypt, we will find out in the post behind the scenes on sunday.

Its also been said though that the night king can't raise the starks in the crypt because there's iron on the tombs to keep them there. can't wait for the new episode, not ready to lose any of the MC's though
On another note, Im also curious about all the Iron lore out there. Its said that the night king and his army doesn't like iron. I have some feeling the Iron Born will have a part to play in that. very curious.

If neds already a bag of bones then the other dead stark lords must be little more than dust, unless the night king can animate skeletons with no connective tissues then i think they should be ok, not to mention the magical properties of ironwood, which the crypt doors are made from, could have been put there with the NK's abilities in mind maybe. but there's definitely something of importance in the lower levels.

Yeah I can't wait till Sunday. Since it is going to be a major ass whimpping in the North. ,And the Night King and his army of WhiteWalkers are going get Bbq by the Dragons that Danny and Jon are riding. ,Yup Sunday should cool like the Battle of the bastards was at WinterFell. Yup a major ass kicking. event, Then the ass kicking in the south coming to King's Landing. And this season has been awesome so far.

Actually this is just bad writing, anyone who watched the latest episode thought about it, and yet not a single person in winterfell considered the possibility of the dead coming back, doesn't make sense, same thing with the dragon, bran told them in the beginning of episode 1 and until the end of episode 2 not even one line was mentioned about the white dragon, again just bad writing and fan service.

I think the opposite is going to happen actually. I think the side of the living is going to be getting their asses handed to them and the only thing that will save them is the reanimated dead starks because of magic. The dead starks will buy them time to flee winterfell. I 've heard theories that the starks protected their crypts with magic because they have fought the night king in the past.
