It: Chapter Two Will Include Two Very Controversial Elements
video description
Edit: I am excited for this movie and I loved the first one. I'm just expressing what I am pretty sure is gonna happen in that scene so that people who are excited to see what they are talking about don't get disappointed when they find out its just a cheap blood pouring out of the ceiling scene.

In talking about Adrian Mellon's death, I'd say that the most important/ meaningful part of it wasn't so much the death itself (Though that was tragic, but rather, the response to it by the law enforcement community which helps to show the way that It subtly causes the townspeople of Derry to look the other way and consciously ignore the evil lurking right under their streets; Even after hearing not one but two separate witnesses each say that they saw a clown drag Mellon out of the water and finish him off, the assistant D. A. pressures the police chief into deliberately burying that detail in order to ensure convictions for Webby and his not- so- merry men. In fact, if I remember right, that section of the book was the first part of the book to really show It doing that to the people of Derry.

Interesting that the guy says that Adrian Mellon's murder shows the influence of Pennywise even when he's hibernating. I don't know how they'll do it in the movie but in the book, It is definitely awake and, as Pennywise, attacks Mellon after he is thrown over the bridge. I don't even think the bullies are actually directly influenced by It, they're just homophobic; Mellon's partner mentions that the whole town is homophobic, and the cops who deal with the incident are as well, though not negligently so.

i don't care how many scares and blood they have, but if they don't change the way that this actor voices pennywise, it just won't be anything but comical to me. the way he voiced him in the first one just makes him sound like he is scooby doo. it's annoying. only thing missing was scooby doo's iconic laugh. judge for yourself, now that i've pointed it out. go back and watch the introduction scene of pennywise after the paper boat goes into the drain. it's straight up scooby doo man.

I hope it actually is scarier this time. I read the novel in college and I was terrified (I'm not easily scared. I like the first part in general, it stayed close to the novel, the kids had amazing chemistry, pennywise was great, adjusting the timeline to fit recent years. The only issues I had were reducing Mike's role, not including more of a backstory to at least one of child victims, the film to me was more humorous than scary. It was like a darker version of 'The Goonies' to me.

I liked IT chapter one, but it was not scary! Not even a little bit. Heres to hoping that 2 is in fact more intense and scarier.
Someone on set said, this is the most blood ever used in a scene? I highly doubt that. So because some Grip thinks its the most blood ever in a scene makes it true? Im sure I could make a list of films that have more blood than that scene in IT 2. Maybe it was the most blood that member of the crew has ever seen.

I dont think hate crimes belong in lightweight horror movies. Theyre a trope, cheap and pander to the ignorance of your typical horror fan( teenage males with an I. Q lower than an amoebas ) if homophobia is going to be used in a film it shouldnt be part of entertainment it should be a study piece, something that educates not panders to your gore bore

Huh? In the book, after the Loser's club defeats IT for the first time, the kids are in a panic and can't navigate their way through the sewers. Beverley is like I don't know why, but I think I should let them bone me. One by one they all get a chance. Very uncomfortable to read and far more controversial than beating up a gay dude.

1. IT 2017 was not scary. It was like if they made. Goonies Halloween special. I really hope they do dial up the terror in this one because the book is absolutely visceral
2. Good on the filmmakers for including those scenes. this half needs to be far closer to the book than the first was. They also need to include the cosmic turtle
