Oh everyone noticed! But many butthurt hydra minions just don't like the idea of a black hero kicking off the Marvel modern movie franchise and will always try and find the most ridiculous and far reached excuses to dismiss it. Every Marvel movie flopped before Blade and comic movies died for awhile after George Clooney's sorry portrayal of Batman. Blade brought it back and kicked off the success of Marvel in 1998. Two years before Xmen in 2000!

The video does not pinpoint one of the major ways that Blade affected superhero films. It was the first film in which the action sequences felt like comic book fight scenes thanks to enhancements through CGI. The practical effects of older films made them feel slow. In Blade, the action was more intense and faster.

The classic punisher movie became a flop due to no pacing for the character and story, thus the PG-13 shit. Not cool its not dark enough and has no philosophical meaning it didn't follow the source material, thus goes for the terrible hand-hand nor gun fight scenes. And Frank is a marine not a cop.

I was thinking about how to integrate the blade universe (vampire CEO's and such) into the Marvel Universe, and the answer is pretty easy,
Nightstalkers (the group from Blade III) were funded by Hydra to create a power vacuum so that Hydra can gain more power.

Blade being so obscure no one outside the fan base realised he was a comic book guy was actually a plus. I remember dragging my mate to see it at the time. I sold him it as a horror flick. He would just not have gone to see a superhero movie.

Keep in mind, Black Panther was a C-list, due to not being utilized. He then went on to become perhaps the most popular current superhero.
