Now I'm just like the mind flayer lights himself up red like the colour of the cancerous m&ms and has a red corona (probably why the m&ms twitter account said red ones are in the upside down) and the mind flayer is a virus (corona virus) and the muto from Godzilla 2014 have red eyes again like the colour of the m&ms and are radioactive like godzilla and eat radiation and should give you cancer (yep cancer) if you get close to them and Millie bb was in the next movie five years later.

Theres another error in the season. In the last episode, when Joyce asks hopper on a date, he says he cant go because El likes to watch Miami Vice at 10. But Im the 80s, Indiana didnt do daylight savings time, so in the summer the state would switch to central time. That means Miami Vice wouldve aired at 9 instead of 10 like it usually would. Also, the episode wouldve been a rerun anyways so it wasnt like they HAD to watch it.

I don't know if you have noticed, but when Nancy goes to the hospital to visit the grandma and gets some flowers, there is a shot that shows that she dropped a flower and that the flower got on the floor, but in the next shot, when the show her entering the room, there is no dropped flower in the hall she was walking (I may have done some grammar mistakes, English is not my main language, sorry)

Another error is that the part of Indiana where Hawkins is supposedly located has never had 7-Eleven gas station stores. For the most part the only 7-Elevens in the state have been around the area bordering Michigan. There were a handful elsewhere back in the 80s, but they were few and far between.

I did spot the red M&M error when I first watched it, and commented on it (the person I was watching it with was born in 1987 and thought I was crazy. but I'm pretty sure that scene was in the movie theater later on. The M&M in the scene shown here looks clearly orange to me.

They knew what they were doing. It took eleven years to bring back the red m&m, and the character who's holding the red m&m is called Eleven. Psh, gimme a break, give me a break! Give me a break of that kit kat bar!

You question the fact that there's a red m&m when there's a whole other universe and monsters while no one except a group of kids and a cop know about the monsters and are the only ones who care to fight it.

I noticed that in the pool scene in season 3 episode 1, the person sitting next to Mrs. Wheeler quickly puts down a 7 up drink, but 7 up wasn't founded until 1986, and season 3 takes place in 1985.
