I wouldn't call many of these disturbing at all. Some are just plain boring. The year before that I call one movie kinda disturbing and it was Hereditary. The movies I'll call fully disturbing would be movies like A Serbian Film or Dancer in the Dark. One time watching is enough, thank you.

Us was so disappointing. It's a shame the acting and photography was wasted on such a muddled mess that goes off the rails and doesn't make any sense. The metaphorical twist in the third act is ruined because it doesn't make any sense and applying and logic to it makes it crumble and undermines the first two thirds of the film. What a shame.

I just dont understand this crazy love affair with Get Out and Us. Theyre good but how many different people are going to copy the pitch perfect line? In Us, youre waiting for the big twist and then, oh, that was it? I suspect that theres something else about these films thats pushing this overzealous fanboy support.

Why is Us even on this list? Lol it was an average horror movie at best, and the remake of Pet Sematary are y'all for real? I couldn't take it seriously, it's so bad. Also Midsommar probably isn't on this list because it was released right around the time this video was posted, but still.

Far from being the golden age of horror movies today the latest installment of a downhill hill slide since the 70s. Sure, a decent one comes up every now and again but most current horror films are low level mindless garbage that barely reach the level of fan fic.

get out is really not a horror movie. You almost immediatly realise what's going on, and it's basically just an excuse for some hot action-movie-like ending. It's kind of a good movie. But it's not a good horror movie.

What I'm puzzled about is HAGAZUSSA Was released in 2017. CLIMAX, THE WIND, DRAGGED ACROSS CONCRETE and POSSUM were released in 2018. So how the hell is this a 2019 list.
