If Disney cannot talk Hugh Jackman into staying, I think Taron Egerton would be the best choice. He is a very different type to Hugh Jackman, but has all the qualities to be a great Wolverine. Also, it would be interesting to see a young Wolverine, as we might as well change things up a little. That fanart of Taron with Wolverine sideburns definitely gets me hyped!

Luke Evans is my top pick for wolverine. he's also a Disney Darling having played Gaston in the live action beauty and the beast. and since he's not going to be in the eternals I would hope Marvel is keeping him for an Xmen role like Wolverine.

Just because you have a Buzz in Hollywood, doesn't mean you're fit for a particular role. If you want to ruin the image of Wolverine, sure, go ahead and cast him. Reduce the character in height and size and create a not so grizzly wolverine. Why?

I felt like tom Hardy and him should've switched places. Tom as wolverine and taron as venom. Taron would fit the bully type jock and antagonist against Peter Parker while tom Hardy with the grizzly, dgaf kind of tone who's a lone wolf
