Dark Phoenix was a disappointment since they had a second swipe at a very awesome story and for the second time blew it all to shit and back. It was fated when they bumped back the release date a few times. You KNOW that a movie is gonna be wretched when that happens. Once can be forgiven as exceptions exist (the original Raimi Spider-Man delayed due to 9/11 and reshoots needed as a result, they are few and far between. Any more than one delay and I can't think of one that was worth watching.
Anna seems like a movie I wouldn't watch if dared and to be honest, I wasn't even aware that it was a movie until I saw this video. Lucy did okay but wasn't a breakaway success. It's like they didn't learn with Atomic Blond or Red Sparrow. They really, really wanna convince someone that society wants a female led badass beat-em-up, but society has made it clear through poor box office that no, they don't. So why are they bothering to keep trying?

People who are making movies should keep in mind that there are thousands of content out there due to online streaming services and there are n number of movies with better story and this is not the 2000's that people will watch just because of they don't have anything else to watch. Any content with huge plot holes, boring and uninteresting will tank big.

Just as reminder. every movie doesn't have to be a critically acclaimed cinematic masterpiece that scores 7+ on IMDB. Some movies are low budget, score only a 5 but very entertaining and get panned by the critics for one reason or the other. We should never allow a critic's or anyone's negative opinion decide what go and see.

Critics' views on film are no longer relevant. Its all about what the audience likes, and will pay to see. I've not read or watched any criticle reviews in at least a decade. Maybe its my age or perhaps, me being a bit cynical. Either way, screw thw citics. We like what we like.

so it has been proven that, if you try to feminize old classics, your movies are gonna suck. i'm a woman and i avoid movies like that. create something amazing of your own. same goes to racial stuff. this political correctness is ruining film.

Glass was actually very good. Granted I had expected a different type of movie and had to readjust with the story but that was easy to do and it turned into a damn good story. I have a great appreciation for it's uniqueness even if others don't.

These movies are bad, but no one should care what critics nowadays think. And this video is four months too early. Cats, Terminator Dark Fate, Charlie's Angels, Rise of Skywalker. All should be added to this list.
