The reason why the real world is thought to be; The first matrix was designed to make everyone happy, and most people didn't accept it. Because this perfection was against human nature, to destroy, to fight, to fight and unhappiness was a part of human nature. The flawless matrix experiment caused the destruction of the crops of machines, a large proportion of people. So instead of creating a perfect world that would make everyone happy, they created a world that simulated that the wounds of war and the people who couldn't accept the system could reach the real world instead of throwing them out of the system and fighting with the machines, giving people who didn't adapt to the system a purpose and staying in the system.

Neo is an antivirus and its task is to protect the matrix. So he's in charge of clearing the matrix from Agent Smith, which he does. Neo makes a meaningless deal with the machines in exchange for destroying Smith. He asks every person who wants to leave the system to let him leave and on this condition he negotiates with the machines. Oddly enough, people could somehow get out of the matrix and get to the real-world crates. At present, most people were not ready to leave the matrix, there is even an example in the film that wants to leave the matrix and return to the system. In fact, the choices offered by Neo to the architect, that is, both doors were going to the same place. Neo would eventually destroy Smith and save the matrix and the machines. The only thing Neo changed was that Zion was not reset, that is, it didn't change the fact that people would continue to be slaves or power supplies to machines. With this agreement, more people would be found in Zion, which is part of the matrix.
let me add a few more tips; In the first film, Smith shoots Neo. Trinity kisses Neo with a special technique and brings him back to life (no joke. It is not Trinity's kiss that revived Neo, but that he was programmed not to die without stopping Agent Smith. In the last film, Neo realizes that the only way to stop Smith is to let him take over. In the meantime, remembering Smith's previous bitter experiences, he lives in dejavu and expresses this wait a bit, I've seen this. He finishes his words and copies himself into Neo's body. Even after he destroyed Neo, he couldn't believe it. He says, and the main machine takes the final blow to Smith over Neo and the war is over. And, as the architect says, the 6th Neo successfully accomplishes its mission and erases Smith and himself from the system. And as a result, the humanized Machine Smith is stopped by the mechanized human Neo, ensuring the continuity of the Matrix.

All of the John Wick movies take place in the Matrix. The world of Wick is a computer program, similar to the one seen in the Morpheus/Neo scene with The lady in the red dress. Due to the truce at the end of the last Matrix, the machines must find a way to contain The One. This is accomplished by creating the character John Wick. The machines continually send programs in the form of assassins to try and develop one that can subdue Wick. We see Morpheus as the ruler of an underground assassins guild. He is aware of his place as evident by the scene where he is placing the SIM cards onto carrier pigeons in an attempt to disrupt the program and introduce variables. We will see this revealed in JW4 with the intent of having you immediately go see Matrix 4.
If you watch the movies there are many easter eggs that point to the fact this is a program of the Matrix. From Wicks ability to avoid massive damage, the lack of police activity, the public almost never reacting to the violence around them and the continental + high table which are run by a program similar to the Merovingian. Some would say the world is surreal which it is. We see the Key Master featured in Wick 3 as the doctor as well. These are not coincidences. Go watch John Wick, especially 2 + 3 with this mindset and you will instantly notice how this is a program of the Matrix. Many lives were sacrificed for this information.

Ohh. I just realized where they maybe took the idea of Neo's death from in Matrix 3 Revolutions. Watch the movie Excalibur from 1981. Particularly the end, when King Arthur dies. Very similar scene compared with Neo's death scene in Revolutions. Probably in many people's unconscious memories when they saw the 2003 film. However, in Excalibur Arthur was dead. Turns out Neo is not dead, as many assumed, he will be alive in Matrix 4. Did we assume Neo was dead because of the similarity to Excalibur? If so, that is one hell of a mind trick the Wachowski Brothers played. Well done.

We dont need pre- sequels, they should learn that by now. If they do a young morpheus angle it will be episode 3 all over again and the force awakens all over again. Just make a new trilogy where we see our heroes once again and then maybe in the second on they pass the baton to other hackers who they know will finish the fight in 2 and 3. Actually sequencing trilogy would be nice for one. We've had 3 decades of trash, reboots and pre-seqels let the m4trix be unique again like it once was before at the turn of the century. Let it be REVOLUTIONARY! :)

Without that other brother (or sister) available or Might be straight trash. he, or I mean she did a lot of writing had a ton if input if you check the older DVD. Maybe some outside perspectives would really benefit the production. I hope its fire whoever works on it though. And what the plot line will be. Is it gonna just be one of those 6-7 times before when the machines would win and kill everyone then restart everything. Kinda predictable but allllrriiiigggghhhhttttt

The plot is, even after they thought they were out, they were still in the matrix, another matrix. With a layered matrix would the architect could achieve 100% efficiency. Let them think they escaped when they were still working for the machines.
This would explain a lot of things about the sequels actually.

Reeves is cool he's awesome but just like avatar the one are always reincarnated so i get he made that role his but keep with the story and it's lore don't just put trinity and neo back for the fans continue the story with another chosen one set years ahead that way we get to know how long peace lasted
