Which government can control 1. 4 billion population with horror?
If it is so horrible, there are millions of Chinese at overseas, studying or doing business, why they still return to this horror place happily.
Unless your assumption is that these 1. 4 billion population are just robots to be manipulated.
How come, based on world bank report, China uplifted 800 millions out of poverty? If China is an evil government, why should they care about Chinese poverty?
Look at US, homeless problem, sick without medicare, no jobs, no safe from mass shooting anytime.
Which is a more horrible country to live in, US or China?

Police are there to keep peace and order. Now, if the protesters are protesting peacefully and the police just decide that they're gonna use force then the police are wrong. However, I feel like there are always 2 sides to a coin. If the protesters are provoking the police force and protesting in a manner that suppresses the peace then the police have to do certain measures to prevent the protesters from disrupting the peace and order. The police force is not going to beg, like Please, calm down everyone. when people are throwing things at them, etc. I don't know the full story, but I hope that everything will turn out well for both parties.

Very good, Liu yifei is the best actor of Mulan, Mulan bravely defend her country and beat the enemy, now Liu yifei have clearly defend Chinese interest and against west color revolution attacking China. The west color revolution is now the Huns for China, the want China into chaos like Ukrain or Syira, Liu yifei is 100% fit for Mulan for Chinese. This movie will got a good box office in China, Mulan is Chinese story, only Chinese can know its content despite what ever other people said.
BTW, Huns invade China also with the excuse of Free and Demecray. But they just massacars, just like west colonism and now in Syria, Iraq and Lybia

I really dont care she supports them or not I just want to watch the freaking movie and now its been postponed it doesnt really matter if she supports then or not because to me its just what you believe in and if she believes then thats what she believes wether shes or being forced to go by the government it really doesnt matter unless its actually violence and it involves with her having to be forced literally to say that. Otherwise it doesnt really matter. to me at least.

Honestly I plan boycotting the movie anyway. I was excited for it because Mulan is my favorite Disney movie of all time and I actually thought the live action version had potential until I saw the trailer. I mean its like they took the most memorable and iconic things and threw them out not to mention the remake clearly lost everything the original stood for. Also, at least to me, the remake looks a lot more childish (like the new way theyre interpreting the story.

I think I am going to wait for DVD for this one I understand having a different story because its hard to make it better than the original, I undertand how morshu is not in it, I think it will be very hard to make a red dragon look good on screen the thing about this movie which makes me question it a lot is the no ShNg Li he was a main character of the original film, I also really want to see tenet

Mulan was my favorite Disney princess, it was my favorite movie, the trailer made me cry but I will not reward anyone who supports people who rape, beat, shoot, break arms of defenseless humans. She can have someone else's money and explain to the cast and crew why it was that important that she support the government of China's abuses towards Hong Kong because I'm not listening.

I understand that people are upset by her words, but even so how does it affect the quality of the movie? This is nothing new. Actors and musicians say wildly inappropriate things all the time and walk away fine a few days later. Boycotting the film wont change Lius mind and it wont erase what she said. For the people who want to go see the movie, why not just let them enjoy it?
