How is Alita Battle Angel not on this list! Everyone I know who's seen it was actually blown away.
I went from knowing nothing about the franchise to being a huge fan overnight, I brought the manga box set and I'm half way through the second book.
It's honestly better than most the movies on this list.
They should rename this video movies that critics liked in 2019 regardless of whether or not actual audiences enjoyed them.

Captian Mavel wasnt amazing. yet nor was or bad. If you hate the actress, fine (I dont like her either, but dont hate the character.
It's the same with Gwyneth Paltrow. Most everyone hates her but do you hate ironman cause shes in it?
Annalise why you hate the movie and then see if it was really that bad. Some people loved it, especially with people who can relate.

Any hear about the latest disney fiasco? You know the one where they were exagerating their income by as much as 6 billion dollars a year. Now all those empty captain marvel movie theaters is starting to make a lot more sense aren't they!

A compelling origin story? Supremely entertaining? Incredible script? A strong sense of fun and swagger? On screen chemistry? I have never heard anyone else anywhere say any of these things about Captain Marvel. In fact mostly I've heard the exact opposite.

Captain Marvel was dull. zero character development. Fury lost his eye to a cat instead on a grenade like the comics. It was a lame movie with crappie plot, bad acting by Larson and no character development. It was the worst Marvel movie ever.

The only thing that blew me away with Captain Marvel was how they could cast such a Biatch? Everyone else in the MCU seems like a well enough people but not Brie, oh no, she has edgyness. Would have rather seen her ass double star instead.

When they said Captain Marvel, I assumed they made the classic mistake of confusing Marvel's Captain Marvel with DC's. But, no, Shazam was next on the list. They actually meant Marvel's Captain Marvel.
