Details Revealed About Star Trek: Picard
video description
Picard can be a chance to disclosed a new Universe which looks like the Original Series Timeline and the Kelvin Timeline. While the series to be based in the timeline of the original series, there are a lot of clues that there is a new universe which resembles a composite of the Original timeline and the Kelvin timeline. For Picard, the new universe is a great mystery to solve. Oddly a clue of the new Universe can include clues to the problems which the Borg are dealing with. Somehow instead of all of the former members of the Borg Collective wanting to form the Cooperative, some members of the former Collective want to restored the old Collective. Ironically those who want to restore the Borg Collective are a major clue of the new Universe's existence.

I can tell you some details about the film that are true.
1. The film will be set 20 years after Star Trek Nemesis.
2. Picard retired from Starfleet not long after Star Trek Nemesis
3. Before Picard retired he undertook one last mission for Starfleet. That mission has now come back to haunt him. The mysterious woman has something to do with it.
4. The main rumour was Picard saved her from becoming the new Borg Queen. A rogue group of Borg wanted to start a new collective. They took her as a baby, with the intention of her becoming the new Borg queen.
5. After he completed the mission Picard decided to retire.
6. First 4 episodes will be directed by people who have worked on Star Trek before.
Hanelle Culpepper is directing the first 2 episodes, has directed 2 episodes of Star Trek Discovery - Series 1 episode 12 episode Vaulting Ambition and season 2 episode 10 The Red Angel
Episodes 3 and 4 will be directed by Star Trek Legend Jonathan Frakes.
7. With the Romulans, the series will be set after Romulas is destroyed as shown in the 2009 film.
This one is just an idea though. In a book written by William Shatner, the Romulan's and Borg work together for a common goal. In the book it was the destruction of the federation.

Looper That's not Data, it's B4. It should be clear when the story/timeline takes place. I'm interested in whether we will see the return of the Klingon look made famous in from The Motion Picture to Enterprise. If the Borg exist, then there's the possibility that this is set within the Kelvin timeline, created by the destruction of Romulus in the 2009 film (not a reboot, but a prequel, and what we will see is the result of that change in the timeline. A great example to alternate timelines, to me, is from Yesterday's Enterprise (ST-TNG S3 E15, when you see the Enterprise NCC-1701-C come through a temporal anomaly, which instantly reshapes reality to a more darker Enterprise D bridge, as the Federation and Klingon Empire are at war. When the Enterprise C goes back, 'another' timeline is created, where Tasha Yar existed in the past and has a daughter. When you see Picard and rest of the crew, it seems everything has returned to before, only it hasn't.

Also, it would be awesome to see Q make an appearance, maybe even have him show the multiple timelines that have existed between the Original series, through the movies and TV series like TNG, DS9, Voyager and Enterprise (a prequel storyline set before the 2009 prequel series. I'm not certain whether Star Trek: Discovery is part of the Kevin timeline or yet another alternate timeline slightly off from Kelvin. If it is, this show 'could' be based on the timeline set from Star Trek: Discovery. Events 'could' have still unfolded (as seen in Nemesis) where Data still gets destroyed and we now see B4, but something seems off to Picard, as he seems aware that certain details are different, and he begins to have flashbacks of events he 'knows' did not happen, yet knows that they somehow did (similar to the series final All Good Things.

I, for one, liked Nemesis a lot. but this also proves useful in story material, and can hardly wait to see how this story turns out, especially with the idea of his daughter having grown up in a Romunlan gulag, or what amounts to it, with the upper brass of Starfleet willingly turning a blind eye to what's going on, so long as the Rihannsu, as the Romulans call themselves, keep up their trade deal of androids to the Federation for some form of goods in exchange, or collusion between elements of both administrations being involved therein, due to what we know of Romulan society, it's not that unsurprising that they'd do this.

Seeing as he's a Starflleet officer, he's a career military man, or the likes thereof. hence it also is likely he'd be acting very unofficially in this series, now that makes more sense; a plausable deniability detail that the Federation administration can claim, if things go awry in his expedition, and if it works, the find out if his little girl was telling the truth about this gulag she claims is on this captured cube that the Romulans are running as a slave-labor and experimentation(possibly as well)extermination camp for these captured Borg personnel they've captured in this situation.

Dahj? Mary Sue to the original cast? Possibly. Riker clone's daughter from jail perhaps with the plans to the Death Star. I mean Borg super cube.
Oh I know. Picard will be instructed at SF HQ in a secret one contractual obligation meeting of old series actors to join her in a black-op on a darkly lit, blue highlights, civilian ship covertly armed to the teeth and crewed by kick boxing wire fighting rag tag argumentative rogues. They could call it Renegades
I think I saw a premade pilot that Kurtsman didn't have to pay for. Cha Ching! CBS!

Finally, we are getting introduced to Lal's sister, created by B4 after Data's sacrifice, due to B4' taking up Data's personality and finding loneliness. She is part of a Delta series of androids (hence the name Dahj, Delta Android Human, brought up with a growing frame to simulate growing into one's self in hopes to avoid a cascade failure by learning to avoid runaway fear or other emotional processing loops. Unfortunately, this still happens, as seen after the fight, but not to as destructive a level

Seeing as he's a robot, he could've had a backup planned, in case he got his programming fried by an EMP at some time in his life, a form of a hard drive copy of his programming that winds up being downloaded into another android of same make and model as himself, and thus gets himself rebooted as it were. Maybe Dahj is involved in that somehow, come to think of it.
