This series has a lot to live up to
I don't like the fact that Miss Culter has no golden hair
And since when is the compas thing FLAT
But otherwise it is good and moving way to fast. John Parry his wife and child (and the fact of traveling to other dimensions ) only cames in book two

The Golden Compass has better CGI then 2019 it started off with an interesting plot however unfortunately the story takes too much of a satanic twist. For someone who claims to be an atheist sure shows signs of being a Satanist. This unfortunately ruins the story. It would have been better if the writer wasn't so obsessed with religion.

Something in the word reinventing when it come to movies and the books they are to be made from screams red flag. Stay with the books, for better or worse. Or just make an independent movie. Im sure there are those who disagree, but might I suggest to take that disagreement and make it into an entirely different opinion.
