suicide squad was badly written and the screenplay wasn't even within miles of radius of the quality of Joaquin starring Joker. Jared Leto is a very very good actor, but only so much a good actor can do to a badly written script, screenplay which has almost no focus but to appeal to the social media kind of crowd. Joaquin starring Joker is made to be an excellent movie unto itself, regardless of how the popular media reacts. A movie has to be a work of art, not a kind of junk food which Suicide Squad was turned into.

Oh god it makes it so much more cringe that Leto did a whole method acting routine over the course of this. Pretending to be Daniel Day Lewis or some shit while delivering a terrible performance in an even worse movie. Ouch. I just picture him preparing packages with dead rats thinking, Haha this is so method of me man I'm such a serious actor people are gonna talk about how deep into the role I am.

Yes, I agree with you all! A terrible joke(r, but I think it was quite fitting for the movie in general. I was so hyped when I heard about the movie and so disappointed when I saw it. But imagine Joaquin Phoenix in that movie. Leto was the right Joker for that particular movie, but that is about it. It was terrible movie all in all. I am glad we got a new, way better Joker and movie.

I feel really bad for Jared Leto. He truthfully is an incredibly gifted actor but who can succeed when (like others have pointed out) his Joker looks like a Soundcloud rapper?
He did the best with what was given to him. Whoever designed this Joker and had this look for him, whoever envisioned that - they should be the one getting the criticism.

I badly wanted to see Jared's another joker movie
I personally liked his joker and all those idiots who is comparing him with other jokers, his joker is different from those other jokers. His joker had to be badass, gangsters, scary, crazy and he has done it perfectly.
I love his performance and i want him back.

The thing I notice about DCEU Joker is his appearance.
Comic Joker would never waste money putting on tattoos, having a metal grill for his teeth, and wear jewelry and expensive clothing to look cool.
Jared Leto's Joker looks like a rapper, who painted himself white, who is going to drop his rap song.

I liked Leto as the joker. He was younger and looked like a real modern gang member. It was very original. I don't see anything wrong with his performance. His laugh chilled my bones. The base problem is he's being compared to more mature and better written versions of the character by the media.

I think that Jared Leto was a really good Joker and I think that the new joker movie would have been better with Jared Leto then Joaquin Phoenix and it would be even better then that if they had Harley Quinn in the movie to show how The Joker & Harley Quinn meet.
