people need to remember that the characters were created in the times in which they were drawn
they looked elegant back then because people had different attire then and personality as the times changes so did the characters. if bell bottom jeans were in back when the disco days were around then yes a superhero would b dressed in bell bottoms because that was the style of the time they were drawn
