The worst movie ever! They were riding horses in Halloween costumes and I was supposed imagine that being a creature from another world. The special effects were terrible. We can only rate it as a Star Wars movie because they had light sabers and electricity coming out of someones hands. The scenes jumped around a lot, it was hard to follow, The acting was bad. Finn chasing after Rey like some 12 yr. old with a crush. You just want to scream, leave her alone she can take care of herself, stop interfering! And Kylo kissing Rey at the end. Yeah right! Thats like Trump Junior kissing Chelsea Clinton. Never gong to happen! The acting wasnt great in most of the movies, but the plot and the scenery/special effects can still carry the movie, but not this one! I felt like I was watching a bunch of 10-year-olds in adult bodies. I got a better value from the movie theater popcorn/nachos and a drink than watching the movie. I dont know if I could ever be able to sit through the whole entire movie again. It was hard enough to watch the first time. Bad movie! Horrible movie! A very disappointing movie! I couldnt tell how many times I said repeatedly aloud, Wow! What a bad movie! on the way home after seeing this movie.

It's funny that the narrator forgot to mention that rise sits at respectable 86% audience score. You think people care what the critics say. These are the same crictics who praised tlj a movie that was basically a slow speed space chase. With yo mama jokes even a 5 year old would infantile. rose tico a character created for the sole purpose that no one would get the idea that rey could have relationship with a blac guy. These are same critics who gave dave chappelle 0% and the audience gave him 100%. The critics are just salty they didn't get paid off this time around. Sounds like more hollywood propaganda to me. A star wars movie made for people who like star wars. What a crazy idea

It's just a silly story why do people take this so seriously. I loved the movie it was fun entertaining, and very well made. That's all it needs to be. Why does everything have to be good or bad? just chill and enjoy it. It's just a silly science fiction story. Please stop paying so much attention to Rotten Tomatoes. Be an intelligent person and make your on determinations.

Lmao. I remember rotten tomatoes (a shit company) basically tell everyone Venom was a horrible movie not worth your time. Damn Venom was a great movie, i also enjoy episode 9. If you read the books Palpatine was going to come back anyway, so get off this whole omg they brought him back, lmao no, he never left you fools just couldn't sense him.

Hilariously the Verified User Reviews have been locked at 86% since just a few hours after the movie came out and were unchanged between 6, 000 and 96, 000 votes. They didn't go up or down by a single percent the entire time. R/StarWars will ban you immediately for pointing this out, too.

The Rotten Tomatoes critic score of 52% is irrelevant. The important score, the one that really counts, is that of the audience: a whopping 86%! We are reminded that the original Star Wars film was initially panned by critics. It is the fans who determine the success of a film, not the critics.
