Tim Burton Movies Ranked From Worst To Best

Tim Burton Movies Ranked From Worst To Best Rally: I disagree with a lot of whats being said here, particularly with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Yes, the original film was a well loved classic, but Burton wasnt trying to do a re-make or fill Gene Wilders shoes. Burtons version was a separate, and more accurate representation of the book. Roald Dahl hated the 1971 version so much that he refused to let Hollywood make a sequel, or do a re-make during his lifetime because of how far it strayed from his vision. His widow, who executively produced Burtons film, said he would have loved this version because it matches the tune of the book. Charlie isnt comparable to Willy Wonka because it isnt supposed to be. Both films are charming and excellent in their own way. I think Tim Burton succeeded in what he was trying to accomplish with his film.

I personally credit Tim Burton as the progenitor of today's cartoons. His Batman movie led to Batman: The Animated Series, which incorporated much from the film into itself. Batman: TAS was innovative, as one of the first well known, and well received, cartoons that showed with abstract, rather then realism, as it's art theme; realistic artwork being the primary cartoon medium up until that point. The popularity of the series then led onto others in this art form, including Samurai Jack, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, and many others. I personally believe that if Tim Burton had not made Batman, and done it exceptionally well, cartoons may never have made the leap into the abstract art medium that many know today.

A lot of people have grown up with his movies. I and many others like his movies. There's no such thing as worst and best movies its always going to be your opinion and my opinion to this video is, Why? Like your got your opinion and stuff but if these are rated by Tim Burton himself, I would care more but my a critic who probably hasn't seen half of his movies, is dumb. Again THIS is MY opinion. The rest of ya'll can have your own.

Original Tim Burton Fans like myself appreciate his art and point of view, he is a genius of cinematographic arts. His less successful work has been when he has tried to please the masses instead of staying true to his craft. Some of his fans would had rather him not to have sold out, but to be honest even the people who say these lines would have sold out to cater to the masses after all there is money to be made and gain.

This video is way to negative. Sure Burton has an unique style and not everyone likes it but you cant say that his films are bad because they failed in cinema. He makes beautiful movies, but they arent made for everyone or a big audience. He makes movies for people, who cant express theirselfes as much as others. He even said that himself.

totally remember watching dark shadows in the 90s. I thought Tim Burton's remake poked fun at how dramatic it used to be in the original and remake of the series. Absolutely love it
