Has The Final Guardians Of The Galaxy Easter Egg Been Discovered? AngelicusImmortus: He sees his mum when Gomorrah says the same thing; triggering the memory of something from his past that he wishes he had done but failed. Meaning it gave him the thought this time I have to
He can hold the stone because as hes told at the end hes only half human,
Try reading what is written under his name on the prison scanner.
Perhaps, thats your clue, after all; Nova prime says they had a sample of his DNA from his arrest there & studied it.
Meaning that Egos later revelation that he is a God type figure is foreshadowed.
It also gives a clue as to why Peter can kill Ego. It also says Ego went back and put a tumour in her brain, killing her in a very human way.
So the egg could be that Gomorrahs words mirror his mothers words.
Remember, also, we know Thanos adopted Gamorrah, we dont know who her mother was.
It could be as simple as the shirt he wore when his mother died being the one Bereet wears when she answers the call from Yando,

No, Peters mother is not eternity, that isnt very consistent within the story and the marvel cinematic universe. However, the vision Peter has of his mother while holding the infinity stone is eternity, his mother, or rather this particular situation with his mother, represents eternity and encourages him to embrace it and make a deep psychological and emotional bondage with it leading to him being in control of the stone. Maybe this is some kind of test similar to the one of the soul stone. But this time, the test is, that you dont just have to face death (the situation of being with his dying mother, but embracing (eternal) death (Peter taking his mothers hand.

Quill's Dad explained all of this about how he went to several planets to mate with and produce offspring including Terra ( Earth) where he met Quill's mom. If any Easter Egg exists it lies in the fact that Quill's Dad was a in fact a Celestial an ancient deity with eminence powers one being to create and in fact become a planet. If they do make another Guardian's movie are they going to go into that in more depth. I don't think Quill lost his Celestial side of him and became a regular human being. If Quill is still Celestial he could in fact have the power to bring back Gamora from
wherever she is at. That's my theory and I am sticking to it.

I thought the reason quill could withstand power stone was because he's the son of ego whose basically a god, in which makes Quill half-god at least?
Remember when thanos take out the power stone with bare hand and blasted off capt. marvel in endgame? Thanos were also not a god in MCU(even tho his power level insanely high) but he could grasp power stone with bare hand, so quill as a half-god in GotG. 1 could surely withstand its power, right?

I am truely shocked you can't figure out the next step. Oh well, I'll tell you.
Crack open a comic and Google Eternity's other half. While Eternity is represented with a decidedly male appearance, his alter ego is represented by an obviously female appearance.
What is the name of this female cosmic being who exists as the flip side of the Eternity coin? INFINITY!
Enjoy

Knowhere was egos head. Ego is obsessed with eternity because eternity killed his body. Leaving ego as only a space brain. Just a far fetched idea I had. I think meridith was the human avatar of gaia or earth. That's what rockstars theory is. Explains how peter was the only child that carried the celestial gene. Because he's the only one born from a near celestial mother.

If Meredith Quill is Eternity, I think she's still alive. About 4 minutes, 35 seconds into Avengers: Endgame, Tony Stark is looking out the widow of Peter Quill's ship & see's (what looks like) a space cloud shaped like a humanoid head reassembling what Meredith's head look like at the beginning of G. O. T. G. Vol. 1. I think that might be her.

First, if his mother was Eternity, how did she let herself get a brain tumor from something beneath her? 2nd, if she's Eternity, why did her son need any help at all while holding the power stone? He should have had ZERO problems holding it, especially with who we know who his father is. I can see her not being human, but not anything cosmic.

Quill's mom is Nemesis the Cosmic. the Eternal being who divided herself into the Infinity Gems (stones) to which the 6th stone is named Ego. the Nod to her being Nemesis is Quill's dad being named Ego. peter was essentially created from the Ego stone (explains why he's so arrogant)
reply

why does she have to be eternity? Why not entropy? Or. Death? Death is shown as female in the comics. And the first and only thing we see of her in the first movie is her dying. Why does she want him to take her hand, when she's dying? To pass on her power/knowledge/something to him?
