Rating: 4.5; Vote: 2
The first season of The Mandalorian, which launched with the Disney+ streaming platform in 2019, has proven a huge success with both critics and audiences. As its eight episodes rolled out, the Star Wars franchise seemed to achieve something it hasn't had in years: a unified fanbase.

You REALLY need to look up the definition of Major and Disappointment. There is neither with this 'announcement'.
BTW, other than 'The Mandalorian' most Star Wars fans, much less the general audience, aren't looking forward to anything coming out about disney star wars from either lucas film or disney.

The Rise Of Skywalker is the worse reviewed Star Wars film by the critics NOT BY THE AUDIENCE
The critics proved their sell-out dipsh ts by their reviews of The Last Jedi. the audience reviews were awful and even after RT kept removing the audience rating for it they still couldnt keep it fresh.

Delaying a book publication by an entire year, especially when book sales are doing better while people continue to quarantine, is a clear sign that this was likely driven Disney Execs after a poor manuscript review.
Very likely the author is having to do substantial rewrites and changes to the story.

I can t believe critics actually like the mandalorian. I watched it cause I m a Star Wars fan and when Disney+ was new that was the highlight of it since the marvel shows haven t come out. But I got to admit the show was super boring. And like I m not talking boring like it fr made me fall asleep.

i did the disney+ free 7 day trial. watched all of the mandalorian and a couple movies then canceled before my trial ended. just wasn't enough to keep me since I dont have kids or care much for most Disney movies. was thinking about giving it another trial once season 2 gets released

I dont think fans are salivating over new figures anymore. Disney's handling of the franchise has put many collectors off, and figures for the new movies have sat on shelves and gone to clearance in many many stores.

Since he's spouting book titles, The Empire Strikes Back is getting the From a certain point of view treatment as well being the 40th anniversary of that film.

As long as we get season 2 and Dune in theatres in December this year just might possibly redeem itself.
November is gonna be a shit storm whoever wins

Miss leading title on this video, I gave it a thumbs down as most of the contents was gibberish and doesn't relate to the subject at hand!

Lol sounds like Disney trying to right the ship but it's way past that point. They sunk that ship with their trilogy and they can't fix what they broke.
