Whether they're meant to give us clues about season 3 or to simply give us all a reason to rewatch once we're done with our first binge, here are some of the small details you probably missed in The Umbrella Academy's second season. Michael: Season 2 is fantastic. I loved season 1 but season 2 is way better. Season 2 is a 10/10 at least. Five, Klaus, and Luther are still my favorites but I love every character even more now. This was a fantastic season and I can t wait for 3. This season made this show one of my favorites ever.

I was so looking forward to season two, and while it wasn t terrible, it certainly wasn t that great. It was campier (not in a good way, and the characters goofy. Where deaths in season one were at times gut wrenching (Diego s cop girlfriend, Dave, and of course the kids themselves when 5 stumbles across them in the original apocalypse, and the music supplemented it perfectly. In season two you couldn t care less, and even knew what would happen when they were gunned down at the end, and the sound track became the lead for the story, not a supplement. Some great action scenes, though, and LOVED the Swedes! (Okay, the main guy strangling his own brother was hard to watch.

You can figure out the Lila twist very early on if you pay very close attention to the dates. In the beginning, Lila says that she found her parents dead when she was 4, and when they showed the flashback (or flash-forward) to that event it was in 1993. SO if you remembered that the Umbrella Acedemy was born in 1989 (which Luther actually said in the next episode, then it would be reasonable that Lila was born on the same day.

I just realized. when Luther and young Five open the portal to 2019 and kick old man Five into it, everyone in the portal in the umbrella academy is the same in 2019 which wouldn t explain the season ending where everything changes. Unless it was something that happened after this scene that changed the timeline? Also wouldn t old man Five be in the year 2019?

Seems to me a major flaw with Lilla's mimic power is revealed. All the Umbrella Academy kids are killed at one point in the show down. Leaving her with no powers! Until they come back to life. She has to keep them alive to have any powers. All the more reason for her to join them so she can protect them and keep her powers.

I'm excited to see Sissy and Harlan in season 3. It's not if. It's cool to see a non-powered individual make this big of an impact on the storyline in this show. And her being Harlan's mom, I could see her take on an adopted mother figure for the rest of the Umbrella Academy.

I suspected Lila teleportation powers the second she was running on the streets after being on that roof a moment earlier. Then she kept appearing Well out of range of five's own teleport? Yeah, but then I forgot about it until the finale.

Not sure how they plan to develop diego's power through the next season, but I still believe that based on this season it is hinted that diego's true nature of his power is actually vector control which would make him just as strong as vanya

When I initially watched this season, I noticed the bird imagery, but figured that it was a set design quirk. Now, with the twist ending, and Harlan's toy sparrow in mind, everything begins to make A WHOLE lot more sense!

The elevator scene has nothing to do with The Kraken's super-breath. They did MANY takes and the actor couldn't keep a straight face because the reaction that Allison gives cracked him up every time.
