Weird Things About Lois Lane And Superman's Relationship

The love between Lois Lane and Superman has spanned across 80 years of DC comics so, naturally, things have gotten a little weird every now and again. From messed-up marriages to role-play gone wrong, here are some of the strangest things about Lois Lane and Superman's relationship. Smallville takes the unconventional route to romance when Lois Lane appears in the show's fourth season. Let's just say that meeting your amnesiac future lover while they're standing naked in a burning field isn't exactly the meet-cute dreams are made of. Unless you're into that kind of thing, which, as it turns out, Clark Kent and Lois Lane definitely are. It all goes down in the first episode of season four, when Lois shows up to investigate the death of her cousin. During her road trip, she winds up in a cornfield where she discovers Clark in the nude, lying in a burned patch of corn. When Supes gets up on his feet, he insists that he's fine to which Lois quite rightly answers: You've just been hit by lightning, you're stark naked, and you don't even remember your own name. You have a fairly loose definition of 'fine. ' Lois and Clark's will they/won't they flirtations last for five whole seasons on the show, and even after they start dating, there's something awkward about all their banter and palpable sexual tension. But it never gets quite as weird as that day they ran into each other in that half-scorched cornfield.

Actually in Superman II he wasn't being cruel to Lois. If the people making this video had actually watched the movie he did it for Lois. Lois was very conflicted about knowing his true identity and not being able to share it with the world who she truly loved and at the same time understanding why she had to keep his secret so he wiped her mind to save her sanity. If anything he was shouldering all the mental trauma and cruelty. Imagine loving someone so much you'd do anything to protect them, even give up your own love and happiness to secure their well being. Honestly yeah in today's times it's corny as hell, but still epic in love. Pining for the love of your life who's literally right in your face but you can never truly have her without destroying her

Direction. That's what the CW shows have always lacked. Carefully shooting and editing their scenes. From Arrow to Flash to Legends to Supergirl it's like every episode is just a compilation of hot takes strung together. Terrible editing and/or direction. You need to take your time when shooting and editing a scene. Give it care. Allow the actors to really get into the moment and character and express themselves. Pasting a bunch of hot takes together is not direction. Superman and Lois doesn't seem to do that. Not only more effective scene direction and pacing but more cinematic as well. Thankfully they didn't copy and paste the exact same cinematography on this shows like they did in the past.

Superman's mind wipe kiss has gotten some flack as being ridiculous but I think it could work and not be so poorly perceived if it just had some scientific explanation to it. I thought of it and thought what if Superman's bioelectrical activity has something to do with it. Superman's invulnerability is credited to a powerful bioelectric force field. What if his body's bio electricity is transfered through the kiss and fries some brain cells?

Supermans twins were angry after finding out he is Superman. That was overly dramatic. Unrealistic. No human on the planet will be angry after learning you are Supermans kid.

Is it sinister for me to want a storyline in which Superman s repeated erasures of Lois memory causes neurological damage, and he s forced to care for her as she deteriorates?

I'm surprised modern day Lois isn't punching everyone in the face and saving Superman. Star Trek Discovery and Doctor Who is now about women being super tough.

The show keeps in the vein of what heroes should be as opposed to heroes who murder people or torture people to death literally just for practice.

There hopefully will be a crossover with the Smallville universe that amounts to more than a cameo. Superman of Two Worlds.

Superman is just obsessed with girls with the initials L L, is it a secret tattoo he is embarassed about, (Lana Lang, Lous Lane)

I watched the 1st episode of the new CW series Superman & Lois, and I feel that this show has nothing to do with the Arrowvers.
