Bale is an amazing actor. I do appreciate what he's done with the character. But they really badly nerfed Gorr. I mean The God Butcher basically only killed one god the whole time. He's supposed to be able to slaughter and massacre entire pantheons of gods. This man can fight multiple gods at once. In the film he is infact pretty powerful. But not as strong, fast & or agile as he should be. I still think they kinda wasted Gorr's potential as the next big villain for now. But that isn't Bale's fault at all.

I feel like they were too scared to go far enough when it comes to the portrayal of Gorr. The same situation happened with Venom and his portrayal as I strongly believe he should have been more extreme, that being said I did enjoy Christian Bale as Gorr and you can tell he's having fun in what's probably one of his favourite gonres of film.

Really wish he had more screen time and more opportunity for developing/exploring his villainous character. Like sure, they shouldn t go to the extreme when portraying a ruthless killer who is feared by Zeus himself, but they didn t give enough to firmly establish that Gorr had such a reputation. It must be said tho that Bale did an amazing job.

This whole video is a lie, gorr was no threat, the movie was a comedy and he was completely under used and not shown to be any sort of real challenge. We felt no real stakes, I mean the made fun of kidnapped kids and then let's the untrained kids fight in the final battle. Nothing about this seems as if he was a threat.

What Christian Bale s performance showed me as yet again just how great of an actor he is. I found myself a few times in the movie thinking he would make an incredible Joker.
The irony, the sublime turn around from a career perspective would be wonderful to watch on the big screen.

Gorr could have burnt Thor's life down but marvel gave gorr a sympathetic villian identity bale could make this character so pshycotic and Zeus was a total joke and that hurts but it was a fun and wholesome movie not a dark one which could give Jason Aaron's Thor run justice

Making sacrifices that are so important to source material for a giant corp. so they can just get something out is a joke. The correct decision is to give us what the source material has. This is a sheer money grab and disgraceful. You're justifications are weak at best.

Great movie. Idk what the critics were expecting. It was fun, action packed, touch on the moral issues we all face as humans and challenges to our faith. In the end light overcomes darkness and love conquers evil. I personally loved every minute of it.
