Yeah I'm not going to see it. They destroyed the lore and they admit they never cared about the source material they just wanted a blank slate to push their politics. I hope this flops and we can send a message stop destroying franchises. This resident evil, doctor who, star wars etc.

I think Amazon will make the series interesting enough for people who don't know Tolkien to watch, but it will be pure fan fiction with some fan service moments thrown in for the Tolkien fans. I m seeing a lot of red flags with this adaption.
