While I like Avatar, I dont exactly love it either. It is basically Dances With Wolves with giant blue cat people. I will say that seeing this movie in 3D is one hell of an experience. I went and saw the re-release in IMAX about a month back and seeing it like that is more akin to a carnival ride than watching a movie. The planet Pandora is the real star of this film.

I have the original Avetar, I haven't watched it since I bought. I'm not in for these kind of movies. Watching them back in 80s and 90s were worth the money, when Dances with Wolves came out, I went to see it twelve times at multi plex movie Theater. .

I must be the only one, but I do not see the appeal of this movie. It s basically Pocahontas in space. I saw it once and remember it being long and boring.

I'm cool and unique because I didn't like the movie! It's science and space and been done before because it uses actors and words.
