Man, some of this is just so petty.
Also yeah, it basically did what all the recent sequels to old movies have done in basically redoing the same story.
BUT. Here's the thing.
This one is WAY better than the first.
This is like if Jurassic World came first and then later we got Jurassic Park.
Anyway, it makes sense to make a sequel like this as a business decision. That's why JW and The Force Awakens made so much money.
Avatar 3 will definitely actually move the story forward. This one was really just to get people caught up on the story which let's be honest most people forgot.

Kate Winslet provides much more than just the voice of Ronal. She IS the character and spent a lot of time underwater going as far as beating the record of Tom Cruise for time spent underwater holding her breath while filming (more than 7 mins)

So the Avatar Planet is needed for humans but just like Spider has shown throughout the entire movie, the planet doesn't have breathable air for humans. That's dumb.

This movie was trash. The only way you can enjoy it is to watch it in imax 3d or 4d. Regular viewing just save your money.
