So all you nerds out there that don't like mission impossible 2, well thank God you're not directors because you would suck as directors. Not only that the other mission impossible movies besides the recent ones they come off like TV movies. When mission impossible 2 is very cinematic. John Woo made a great movie.

'M: I-1' was too brainy and not brawny enough while 'M: I-2' was too brawny and not brainy enough.
Every single 'M: I' flick, from the third movie, when J. J. Abrams joined the franchise, and onward were not only good but got better and better!

Oh my God I couldnt agree more! This is the exact order I would rank the MI movies. Rogue Nation was phenomenal! It was so good that Fallout feels out of place but otherwise a great movie on its own. The ending was so good in Rogue Nation.

Big fan of the movies and have seen them so many times! Saw Mission 2 in theatres and was absolute garbage! Ridiculous action and bored through out! From 3 and on it got much better! Ghost Protocol was 2nd behind Rogue Nation with Fallout #3.
